Lisa and Hunter met on April 30th, 2015 at Vines and Canines, a dog-friendly boutique wine shop in Louisville, KY. Hunter was working when Lisa, Russ, and Raisin came in to meet some friends for a glass of wine.

Hunter kept the wine flowing and Lisa ended up inviting Hunter to her Derby party that weekend. Needless to say, Derby was a success and they have been together ever since.

After four months of dating, they drove across the country for Hunter to be an intern at Patricia Green Cellars in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. Hunter fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and starting talking about moving there.

It did not take much convincing before the two of them decided that after the holidays they were going to move to Oregon. A going away party was set for December 19th, and in an intimate proposal at home, Hunter asked Lisa to marry him. She said YES!

They drove across the country in a Nissan Maxima with 2 dogs, 2 kayaks and anything else that would fit. It has been quite an adventure thus far, but there are many more to come.
