After the ceremony, our families and bridal party will be taking pictures. Guests can travel to the reception venue (Tresca on 8th) for cocktail hour beginning at 4:30 p.m. Tresca on 8th is 0.3 miles from Court Street United Methodist Church. After cocktail hour, dinner will be served, followed by dancing and a sparkler sendoff at 10 p.m.

We are not providing any formal transportation between our ceremony and reception events. Although Court St. United Methodist Church and Tresca on 8th are only 0.3 miles away, we would recommend traveling via personal car or rideshare (Lyft or Uber) as Lynchburg is very hilly with cobblestoned streets. There is parking available at both the ceremony and reception locations. Please stay safe and default to a ride service or carpooling if you plan to drink.

We are at capacity with our venue which means that we sadly cannot accommodate additional guests. We can only accommodate guests and children that are listed on your invitation. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out.

Please RSVP on this website under the "RSVP" tab, and note that you will be prompted to RSVP to the ceremony AND reception. PLEASE RSVP BY APRIL 28TH so that we can secure your seat and meal with the venue.

Although we can't guarantee what the conditions will be like, the average temperature in Lynchburg in May for a typical day ranges from a high of 77°F (25°C) to a low of 55°F (13°C). Please note that both the church and the reception venue are air conditioned.

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony to provide an opportunity for the professionals to capture the best moments. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures so that we can see and enjoy them too!
