Q + A

Where are the bride and groom staying?

We are staying at Andril Fireplace Cottages in Pacific Grove, CA. There is not a room block, but they still have availability for our dates. Reception will be held here as well. Please note there is a 2-night minimum here.

What other hotel accommodations are there?

There are numerous options in Pacific Grove (can’t go wrong in this cute town), Monterey or nearby Salinas, Watsonville, Carmel or Seaside. All within an hour’s drive of our venues.

Which airport should I fly into?

We would recommend San Francisco as it’s a great airport and laid out logically. About a 2 hour drive from Monterey. You can fly into Monterey as well but it can be a bit pricier. San Jose is also an option.

What if I want to drive?

Do it! Nothing beats a road trip! That’s if you have time. About an 18-20 hour drive from Denver, CO. Unfortunately, gas in CA averages about $6/gallon so keep that in mind.

What is the weather like that time of year?

In the lower 60’s during the day time and the low is about 10 degrees cooler than that. Ocean air can be chilly, so bring a jacket. Rainfall in May 2024 totaled less than an inch. It can be pretty foggy off and on throughout the day.

Can I bring a “plus one”?

Due to this being a permitted beach wedding, the package we booked has a cap and we cannot accommodate uninvited guests. We will do our best to include your partner on our guest list for the ceremony. All are invited to the reception. No children please.

Where are you registered?

We have set up a honeymoon fund and ask that you graciously contribute to our expenses for our 6-day honeymoon following the wedding, stops including Carmel, Sonoma and some biking along the way.
