What is the dress code?
We'd love for our guests to join us in cocktail attire/semi-formal attire.
The groom will be in a dark green suit. The wedding party will be wearing light green suits and “cinnamon” orange dresses.
Hopefully common sense but please do not wear white either, thank you :)
Can we bring our children?
While we love all of the children in our lives, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We appreciate your understanding and hope you’re able to enjoy a nice night out!
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Assuming the weather is on our side (fingers crossed) the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors. The reception will be indoors but you will have access to outdoors.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
When we send out wedding invites, you will be told if you get a plus one. If you did not receive a plus one mention in your invite, then we kindly ask that you respect our decision. This does not apply to save the dates, those will not specify yet.
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Yes we have 2 room blocks. One at the D.Hotel (currently filled) and added a second block at a Hampton Inn. Please see the travel section of our website!
Please book sooner than later. We have until Sept 17th 2025 for Hampton Inn and competing with other room blocks and a college parent weekend. Call the hotel if needed.
We will be monitoring the block and increasing rooms as needed/if they have availability.
Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?
Yes, we will have a shuttle service at the D.Hotel going to and from the venue. It’s about a 10 minute ride.
If staying at the Hampton Inn West Springfield, we currently do not have a shuttle service. If that changes we will update so here and on “travel” section of site. The drive from this hotel will be close to 15 mins
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, we are paying for it, so drink up (responsibly of course)!
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
We will be having an unplugged ceremony. So we ask that, for the ceremony, there are no phones/photography other than our hired vendors. We pay them a lot , so we’d like them to not have to work around phones!
However, for the cocktail hour and reception, take as many photos and videos as you’d like!
Will there be an after party?
Unfortunately, we are no longer having an official after party.
If it is open and people want to still hang out, we will gather at "the mick" bar next to the D.Hotel for a little. Guests can also hang out in the lobby of the hotel.
