This is what first lured me to Las Vegas, NM! It's a truly unique space. Typically, it is open to the public during the day. If you can't make it to our wedding (or if the weather causes us to relocate the ceremony), I encourage you to visit another time! It's worth the trip. It has been described as "Holy Architecture for Earthly Living." ♥️
Six miles northwest of Las Vegas, the warm, healing, mineral-charged pools of Montezuma Hot Springs are one of Mother Nature’s myriad blessings found in northern New Mexico.
Centuries ago, native warriors healed their wounds in these springs after battle.
It’s a beautiful setting, as the springs lie along the Gallinas River and are adjacent to several historic buildings.
Although located on private property, UWC allows free public access to the springs, maintains regulations for using the tubs and sees they are kept clean. Bathing suits are required.
Several small soaking pools, range from very hot to warm, in addition to larger rock pools christened the “lobster pot” (a very hot 120°), and “Africa” (102.7°) for its familiar shape.
"Weave And Gather is a.retail shop on the historic plaza of Las Vegas, NM, specializing in vintage Moroccan rugs and textiles from around the world. We curate a beautiful array of handmade and small batch goods including jewelry, ceramics, natural apothecary, clothing, local art, and more!"
I LOVE THIS PLACE!
The owners, Rachel and Jim are wonderful.
And the shop is full of artisan treasures. ♥️
This is my favorite shop in town. Great folks, lot's of treasures!
There's plenty of shopping on the town square.
Art galleries too!
