It all began on the dating platform Hinge. Inspired by Aziz Ansaris Netflix show, Master of None, Anthony came up with the perfect line to get the conversation started.

"Who is your favorite Spice Girl?"

After much thought - this seemed like the perfect line. What 90's girl didn't like the Spice Girls? If they didn't like the Spice Girls, it seemed like an immediate red flag.

Sure enough, Liv replied with enthusiasm. Although she responded with Baby Spice (not the best Spice Girl, we all know its Sporty).

The conversation continued and flowed beautifully for quite some time. Eventually, Liv shared her phone number with Anthony. The conversation continued with lots of GIFS and playful banter. Eventually, Liv invited Anthony over for dinner.

When Anthony arrived, he was immediately met by the family dogs - Dakota and Boo. Liv wondered where Anthony was as she was in the process of cooking a delicious dinner. He was outside petting Dakota. Dakota was the best (RIP). Finally, Anthony made his way into the house and greeted Liv (20 minutes later). Almost immediately he spilled tomato sauce on his white shirt. Liv offered to wash it but Anthony refused since he had no other shirt to wear. Liv cleaned it a bit with soap and water. They ate a delicious meal outside on the patio. They then played Clue. After defeating Liv in Clue, the topic of Stranger Things came up, Liv had never seen it. Anthony immediately suggested that they watch it. Season 3 had been released a month prior.

They continued to watch Stranger Things over the course of the next few months and Liv grew very fond of the show, as well as Anthony. They continued to enjoy each others company and make each other laugh.

Anthony was introduced to Owen, as well as a majority of the family on the same day (Anthony met Olivia’s sister, Maggie on the third date. She interrogated him for the entire 20 minute car ride upon meeting him when they had to pick her up from a Bat Mitzvah). Owen and Anthony became immediate buds. Liv and Anthony became an official couple before Thanksgiving of 2019. Through the last 5 years life has thrown many curveballs their way, but they always held each other up and continued to laugh together. Liv's family introduced Block Island to Anthony and it quickly became a very special place for the two of them.

Coincidently, Anthony's parents ventured to Block Island for their first trip as couple. They fell in love with the beautiful little Island just as Anthony and Liv would years later.

Over the last five years, Liv and Anthony have had many adventures together. With a shared love of music they've attended too many concerts and festivals to keep count, enjoyed the outdoors, eaten delicious food, and traveled together. They spent much of their time in New York City with Olivia's Dad, Grandfather, beloved Grandmother, and Uncle, all of whom adore Anthony.

In March 2022, they adopted their sassy little rescue pup, Phoebe. She instantly became a part of the family and has been a source of true joy for Anthony, Liv, and Owen. Making their little family (almost) complete.

On June 26, 2024, Anthony and Liv ventured to Block Island for an early Summer getaway. They started hiking on the Clayhead trail. What was meant to be a quick hike turned into a sweaty 6 mile hike (thanks, Anthony). When they reached the trail's end, Anthony asked Liv to walk down Pots N' Kettles beach where he got down on one knee and asked her to spend the rest of their lives together.

Liv always says that Block Island is where her soul feels most at peace and Anthony agrees, which is why they've decided to celebrate their wedding on the island next year.
