Block Island Express
The Block Island Express is a passenger only ferry from New London CT to Block Island with a travel time of 80-90 minutes. Reservations can be made in advance online or tickets can be purchased at the ticket window on the day of travel. (We strongly suggest booking your tickets in advance just in case!) We will update with the 2025 schedule when it becomes available.
Block Island Ferry
There are two ferries that depart from Pt. Judith, RI. The fast ferry that is passenger only with the travel time being 30 minutes.
The traditional ferry is for cars and passengers with the travel time being 1 hour.

While it is not necessary to bring your car over, reservations do book quickly!
*The Block Island Ferry is 50 minutes further North on I-95*
New England Airlines
While we've never flown to the Island, we've heard that it's quick and easy! Flights depart from Westerly, RI with the flight time being 12 minutes. Please check the website for schedules and reservation information!
Taxi Transportation
Taxis service is available all over the Island. Please visit the website listed for a list of taxi companies and their contact information.
Bikes, Mopeds, and Car Rentals
There are many ways to get around the island without a car. Bikes, mopeds, and electric scooters can be rented at various shops around the island. If you would like to rent a car on island that is an option as well.

Summer Hill
Beautiful Block Island farmhouse that sleeps 20. Three day minimum rental- $1,000/weeknights, $1,500/weekend nights.
The house is owned and run by our favorite Inn Keepers Becca and Christy who own the Darius Inn. Unfortunately, The Darius is already fully booked for the weekend on 6/7/25. They will let us know of any cancellations at which time we will add them to our list of Inns/Hotels!
