Liz and Ryan first "swiped right", realized they had a lot of the same fitness-oriented interests in common and decided they had to meet each other. Their first date was at Gaslight in Lincoln Park where they really hit it off, so much that Liz invited Ryan out afterwards to meet up with some of her girlfriends on their very first date! Ryan must not have been too overwhelmed because the rest is history :)
