Before we begin...

A short time ago, in a cafeteria not far away. There was a young man who lived in a college dormitory. It was nothing particularity special, but it was his and that is all that mattered. He made a habit out of going to the cafeteria. It was here that he was able to eat ungodly amounts of food, study for assignments, and social ize with his companions. The cafeteria was a safe and warm place for the young man. However, today was not a good day. In fact, the young man was having an exceptionally bad day you see, he had just been dumped by a young woman. The young man accepted that sometimes things just don't work out but no matter what, it was okay because he had his cafeteria table... or at least he had hoped.

The young man could not believe his eyes. There, at his chair, was the most beautiful woman he had ever known. Quietly and peacefully, she wrote away in her journal in a world far beyond the young man's knowledge. However, despite her beauty, the young man did not seem to notice. He could only focus on the blasted woman who stole his precious chair. As if she could see the steam from his boiling brain she finally asked a question that changed the young man's life

"Having trouble focusing?"

The young man was shocked and a little embarrassed at her question. After slight resistance, the young man finally talked with the young woman. The conversation seemed to last for hours going from breakup stories, to music to even preferred fighting styles. The two seemed to have everything in common. Yet, the two of them never seemed to ask each other out. Despite an embarrassing number of people telling the young man and the young woman that they were perfect for each other they never seemed to catch on.

It was not until six months had past and the two were alone in the woods together sharing a hammock that the young man finally realized that he was a FREAKNG IDIOT AND UNDERSTOOD THAT SHE WAS AMAZING AND FANTASTIC FOR HIM that he asked the question.

"What are you doing Saturday?"

Thus began the tale as old as time. The young man and young woman faced many adventures and battled numerous beasts and stared into the eyes of Death himself! But that is a story for another time. The couple fell more and more in love with each other and simply could not imagine a world without the other. They realized that the greatest story has not yet been told, but they knew that in order for it to truly be the greatest, the two had to stand side by side.

Although the pandemic changed our plans, God blessed us with a beautiful, intimate wedding day. It was 47 degrees and windy, but wonderful ! We hope to celebrate our marriage in-person with everyone soon!
