One of the most memorable moments of my life was when I was around 14 years old. He was brewing some sort of fancy coffee that tasted like dirt. With a mug of coffee in his hand, he walks over to me and says, "Josh, you're never going to get any taller. But, I can make you wider." Then he took me to the gym and taught me how to lift weights. Justin has been one of the biggest influences on me which means any lame joke, strange mannerism or weird accent that you have heard come out of my mouth, was probably created when we were together. Justin is my bro and he's a bro. We're bros by birth, but also bros by choice.

Although in Missouri on our wedding day, still present in spirit. So grateful to be blessed with a sister that knows me, loves me, helps me grow and that we share a love that no distance can separate.

I met James my freshman year at college at a football game. I distinctly remember him saying "look at that guy standing there watching all dramatically. What a stud." By the end of the game, I found out he was the Emperor Palpatine to my Darth Vader. With James, we would either end up pulling off some sort of scheme on campus or staying up till 2AM talking about how to change the world. Never a dull moment with James Figueroa. He too is a bro... but not a bro with the same Mom. He is a bro that realized that we should have been bros despite the whole Mom thing that was mentioned before...

A faithful friend and roommate who has seen me through many trials and tribulations and loved me through them all.

I have known Taplin since I was five years old and he has probably seen me in almost every phase of my life. If you ever hear a funny story about something stupid I have done, he was probably one of the people helping me pull it off. Whether it was screaming at each other during summer camp games, or getting our butts kicked in soccer by a bunch of Honduran children, Taplin was the guy he had my back. Taplin is a bro, but he is also bros with my bro and other bros. He is a bro of bros. if you will. It only makes sense that he is one of my bros.

I first met Lucas around the same month I first met Liz. Me and Liz had already started boxing together so when she found out that Lucas was coming to town, she told me I had to start training with him. Within 15 minutes of knowing Lucas, I hand him a rubber knife and say "stab me" and he just shrugs and immediately goes for it. Despite how weird this may sound, it felt oddly normal. I should have guessed from that moment that I would one day call him my brother-in-law. Lucas is Liz's bro. But he is also my bro. But you see, I think Liz is a total bro sometimes. So that makes Lucas a bro's bro's bro that is also my bro. He is a total bro for being one of my bros.
