There are several types of rooms available to you when booking your stay. Below is a quick outline of the rooms, but please feel free to discuss with the Agent when you call to reserve your room.
The Old Lodge offers charming, themed log cabin accommodations with Black Lake beach just steps away.
While the lodge provides a picturesque and cozy setting, it maintains its vintage charm rather than modern amenities, and air conditioning is not one of those.
Guests can choose from rooms with one or two beds. The Lodge allows all guests to enjoy covered porches, scenic views, and alcoves perfect for games and conversation.
With its prime beachfront location, it’s an ideal spot for relaxed, casual get-togethers throughout the stay.
This is where Josh & Liz will be staying for the weekend, and with its great common areas, will be perfect for impromptu gatherings. The Old Lodge is just a short walk from where the Saturday Afternoon Reception will be held.
The 400s offer two-bedroom, one-bathroom units, providing both privacy and a dorm-like setting for families or groups. This section allows guests to enjoy their own sleeping quarters while still having shared spaces for connection and relaxation.
There are a limited number of Family Units which allow pets, so make sure to inquire when booking if needed.
The 300s feature hotel-style rooms with double beds, accommodating 1-4 guests. These units offer convenient access to the main lobby, gift shop, and Communications Center.
While not included with our block of rooms, the Black Lake Campus does have a campground. Reservations are required, so if interested in this call ASAP to get information and reserve your site.
Vehicle Policy: The Black Lake Conference Center is owned and operated by the UAW. It is the policy to allow only Union made/American made vehicles onsite. This only includes vehicles that are Union made from the USA and Canada. If you have a vehicle at the gate that does not fit this criteria, they have parking facilities just outside the entrance. To see if a vehicle is American/union made, visit www.unionplus.org.
If you are a guest that is staying and has an import vehicle, you are only allowed to come on center property for unloading your items for your stay and again only when you are departing to load your vehicle for checkout. You are allotted 30 minutes to do this.
During your stay, you are not able to come and go from the outside lot into the Center to pick things up or drop off. You are only allowed to do this when you check in or check out.
