Our Wedding

Logan and Penny met for the first time in September 2018, by a mutual friend. Although the timing wasnt right for them to start a relationship, they built a friendship that was everlasting. (Even though Penny deleted Logan as a Facebook friend.) In retaliation, Logan was sure to hit the block button on her. To this day, Penny still remains blocked from Logans Facebook, and that is the way they like it! In May 2021, Logan had brought his dad to the Timmins &amp; District Hospital for an appointment and unexpectedly ran into Penny in a hallway. A conversation sparked up between the two, and they quickly learned that they were both back on the market. Was this the right time for them to meet again? As it turned out, Logan called Penny up a few days later for a coffee, and she graciously accepted. The duo have been inseparable ever since. Penny played a big role in helping Logan and his mom take care of Logans dad when his health was in decline. This selfless act of kindness, was the key to Logans heart. Pennys culinary skills was definitely an added bonus! Logan thought to himself, this girl just might be the one! It took a special lady to understand and accept Logans close relationship with his parents. Penny has been more than accepting and continues to be there for Logan and his mom each and every day. On the flip side, Penny came with four boys named Evan, Ryan Logan and Tyler. It took someone special to love her and accept her with four boys. Logan has built a special bond with each one of Pennys boys. He tries his best to guide them and teach them valuable life lessons. Most importantly, Logan is showing the boys how to treat a woman right. Logan has made a lot of nice memories with the boys and looks forward to making many more.

The Beginning

Logan had planned on taking his mom, Penny and her youngest son Tyler to Clearwater Beach, Florida during the month of October 2024. While visiting Clearwater Beach, Logan's plan was to propose to Penny on the beach. As it turned out, the state of Florida was severely hit by not one, but two historic hurricanes named Helene and Milton. Many areas of Tampa Bay were devastated by the hurricanes. A lot of places where Logan holds fond memories with his parents over the years, that he wanted to show Penny and Tyler were heavily damaged or destroyed. Logan and Penny still had time booked off from work and were itching to go somewhere so they decided to take a road trip. They crossed the border in Sault Ste Marie, ON and headed South on I75 to Knoxville, TN. Once they hit Knoxville, TN they took I40 West to Nashville, TN. They spent three nights in Nashville, TN. They experienced the honky-tonks on Broadway, took a bus tour that showed many homes of the stars and found themselves at the Grand Ole Opry during the evening of October 22, 2024. A couple of Valentines Day's leading up to this moment, Penny sent Logan a meme that said "Everyone is sitting here with their engagement rings and promise rings and I'm just sitting here with my onion rings." From that day forth, Logan teased Penny about getting her onion rings. While at the Grand Ole Opry, Logan and his mom got up during the intermission for a bathroom break. A lot of people were coming back to their seats with drinks and snacks. When Logan got back to his seat, he asked Penny if she wanted some onion rings. Penny looked at Logan in bewilderment and said "no thanks". Logan turned to his mom and said, "Mom she doesn't want any onions rings tonight!" Penny then proceeded to ask Tyler if he wanted some onion rings, and he turned down the offer too. Logan told Penny that he brought her an onion ring all the way from Canada and pulled out a brown paper A&amp;W bag. Penny was still oblivious as to what was going on. She was thinking to herself, I didn't know they had A&amp;W in Nashville! Logan then proceeded to put his hand in the bag and pulled out a red box containing the engagement ring and got down on one knee in front of everyone inside the Grand Ole Opry and asked Penny to marry him. Penny was in total disbelief and said "YES"! What a night to behold, at the Grand Ole Opry. The following day we drove to Memphis, TN and visited Elvis Presley's Graceland. This was another wonderful experience shared by all. In total, they drove a total of 4,800 km over 7 days and 6 nights. This was definitely a road trip to remember!

Denis is a very loyal friend to Logan and his parents.  Logan often refers to him as his brother, and right hand man.  Whenever Logan is in trouble, Denis always runs to his rescue and lends a hand.

Logan was introduced to Beaver as a friend of his father's when Logan was 16 years old.   Over the past 30 year's, Beaver has made a lot of great memories with Logan and his parents.  Since the passing of Logan's father, Beaver continues to be very close friends with Logan and his mother and will forever be known as Uncle Beaver.  Logan is blessed to have Beaver as friend and confidant that he can always count on.

Mike has been a long time friend of Logan and his fathers.  Whenever Mike and Logan are together, there is certainly a lot of fun to be had by all.

Charles is Logan's first cousin.  As they say, being family isn't a choice, but being friends is.  Charles and Logan are always there to encourage and support one another, through life's ups and downs.

Claude and Logan clicked from day one.  They were both very close to their father's who unfortunately left us too soon.  They were brought up with the same work ethic and values and have become very good friends over the years.

Logan and Eric met by chance.  The two had discovered that their hunt camps were broken into by the same thief.  After meeting and comparing notes, they found out that they shared a lot in common, and their friendship blossomed.  We always say that the best thing to have come out of our misfortune was our friendship!

Who would have thought, a year ago after meeting at the hockey arena, Penny and Josee would have become such great friends. So many memories already made, and so many yet to come.

Every girl needs that one friend that you can put on a beautiful dress and a pair of heels with. Janna is definitely that girlfriend to Penny.

Where there is a best man, you will find a wife that is just as great! Denis and Linda came into Penny's life a few years ago and Linda and I have been friends since!

Jennifer is Penny's one and only older sister.  Jennifer is coming all the way from Ireland to celebrate our special day with us.

Alice is Eric's wife.  As Logan and Eric starting chumming with one another, it was inevitable the ladies met. Alice and Penny hit it off from start and look forward to making memories together.

Karen is a fun loving lady who is always willing to lend a helping hand.  

It is with great pride to have Karen as one of Penny's Bridesmaids.

In Logan's words, he believes his mom to be the most amazing mom in the world.  She always gives Logan endless love, advice, encouragement, strength and support whenever he needs it.  She was also the most amazing wife and soul mate to Logan's father.  Logan is blessed to have his mom with him on this very special day, and does his best to take care of her everyday.

Victoria Kerr

Logan's father was his best friend, hero, mentor and business partner.  There is no one Logan looked up to the most throughout his life.  James left this world on December 29, 2022, and is dearly missed each and every day that goes by.  Logan truly wishes that his dad was with him on this special day.

Mother- someone who loves unconditionally, teaches, inspires and encourages. Finder of things, keeper of precious memories, a person who is much loved and greatly admired.  Not only is Penny’s mom all of those things, she is also her best friend.

Evan is Penny's first born son.  He has lead the way for his three brothers.  Evan is very mechanically inclined and can fix just about anything!  It will be an honor to have him walk his mother down the aisle, alongside his brother Ryan.  Evan is Penny's favourite son!

Ryan is Penny's second born son.  Ryan is funny and very laidback, except when it comes to his academic studies and saving money.  Ryan is working hard at becoming an Engineer.  It will be an honor to have Ryan walk his mother down the aisle, alongside his brother Evan.  Ryan is Penny's favourite son!

Logan is Penny's third born son.  Logan has adopted the nickname "Lil Logan" since his  mother started dating 
Big Logan.  Not only do the two Logan's have the same name, but their birthdays are only two days apart!  Logan is Penny's favourite son!

Tyler is Penny's youngest son.  Tyler brings constant excitement and entertainment to all that know him.  Tyler definitely has a heart of gold!  Tyler is Penny's favourite son!

Our hotel features four beachside covered decks, private cabanas, a children's pool and an adult pool and a tiki bar on the sand.
