Logan and Penny met for the first time in September 2018, by a mutual friend.




Although the timing wasnt right for them to start a relationship, they built a friendship that was everlasting. (Even though Penny deleted Logan as a Facebook friend.)




In retaliation, Logan was sure to hit the block button on her. To this day, Penny still remains blocked from Logans Facebook, and that is the way they like it!




In May 2021, Logan had brought his dad to the Timmins & District Hospital for an appointment and unexpectedly ran into Penny in a hallway. A conversation sparked up between the two, and they quickly learned that they were both back on the market.




Was this the right time for them to meet again?




As it turned out, Logan called Penny up a few days later for a coffee, and she graciously accepted. The duo have been inseparable ever since.




Penny played a big role in helping Logan and his mom take care of Logans dad when his health was in decline.




This selfless act of kindness, was the key to Logans heart. Pennys culinary skills was definitely an added bonus! Logan thought to himself, this girl just might be the one!




It took a special lady to understand and accept Logans close relationship with his parents. Penny has been more than accepting and continues to be there for Logan and his mom each and every day.




On the flip side, Penny came with four boys named Evan, Ryan Logan and Tyler. It took someone special to love her and accept her with four boys.




Logan has built a special bond with each one of Pennys boys. He tries his best to guide them and teach them valuable life lessons. Most importantly, Logan is showing the boys how to treat a woman right.


Logan has made a lot of nice memories with the boys and looks forward to making many more.

Logan had planned on taking his mom, Penny and her youngest son Tyler to Clearwater Beach, Florida during the month of October 2024. While visiting Clearwater Beach, Logan's plan was to propose to Penny on the beach. As it turned out, the state of Florida was severely hit by not one, but two historic hurricanes named Helene and Milton. Many areas of Tampa Bay were devastated by the hurricanes. A lot of places where Logan holds fond memories with his parents over the years, that he wanted to show Penny and Tyler were heavily damaged or destroyed. Logan and Penny still had time booked off from work and were itching to go somewhere so they decided to take a road trip.

They crossed the border in Sault Ste Marie, ON and headed South on I75 to Knoxville, TN. Once they hit Knoxville, TN they took I40 West to Nashville, TN. They spent three nights in Nashville, TN. They experienced the honky-tonks on Broadway, took a bus tour that showed many homes of the stars and found themselves at the Grand Ole Opry during the evening of October 22, 2024.

A couple of Valentines Day's leading up to this moment, Penny sent Logan a meme that said "Everyone is sitting here with their engagement rings and promise rings and I'm just sitting here with my onion rings."

From that day forth, Logan teased Penny about getting her onion rings. While at the Grand Ole Opry, Logan and his mom got up during the intermission for a bathroom break. A lot of people were coming back to their seats with drinks and snacks. When Logan got back to his seat, he asked Penny if she wanted some onion rings. Penny looked at Logan in bewilderment and said "no thanks". Logan turned to his mom and said, "Mom she doesn't want any onions rings tonight!" Penny then proceeded to ask Tyler if he wanted some onion rings, and he turned down the offer too. Logan told Penny that he brought her an onion ring all the way from Canada and pulled out a brown paper A&W bag. Penny was still oblivious as to what was going on. She was thinking to herself, I didn't know they had A&W in Nashville! Logan then proceeded to put his hand in the bag and pulled out a red box containing the engagement ring and got down on one knee in front of everyone inside the Grand Ole Opry and asked Penny to marry him. Penny was in total disbelief and said "YES"!

What a night to behold, at the Grand Ole Opry. The following day we drove to Memphis, TN and visited Elvis Presley's Graceland. This was another wonderful experience shared by all.

In total, they drove a total of 4,800 km over 7 days and 6 nights. This was definitely a road trip to remember!
