Most people don't find their soulmate while bonding over liver transplants... fortunately for us it was kidneys and livers, the Auburn Tigers, Sunday Night Chinese food, and lots of sushi dates.
We were close friends and teammates before realizing we were each other's person, even when all of our friends knew it first! It is that foundation that has built our trust, communication, and relationship. Neither one of us really believes in coincidence, but our first date at Church of the Highlands, there was a brand new series starting that Sunday called "Extraordinary Relationships", E.R. for short. We both knew it was fate that we were suppose to be in that service together. God has blessed us and our relationship in so many ways.
Joe proposed in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the International Hot Air Balloon Festival! One of the many adventures we have been on together, and we look forward to continuing to explore new and old places together.
We will be getting married in beautiful Whitefish, Montana, outside of Glacier National Park. Growing up the Pape family spent many summers and winters in Whitefish, making it Home away from Home.This place holds such a special place in our hearts and we cannot wait to share it.
