WHEN IS THE LAST DAY I CAN MAKE CHANGES TO MY RESERVATION?

The last day to book with the discounted rate or make any modifications to your reservation is April 1st, 2025. Any modifications after April 1st, 2025 will cancel your current reservation and will automatically be rebooked at the current resort rates, which will be much higher.

WHEN WILL I BE CHARGED?

Make sure your card on file has not expired as your card on file will be charged ~30 days before your arrival. Your reservation will be canceled if your payment is declined due to your card on file being expired. To avoid the risk of cancellation due to a credit card company flagging the charge as fraud, you can call the customer service line before the thirty days and have your card charged to be sure it goes through.

DO I HAVE TO STAY AT THE RESORT?

Resort Policy: All wedding guests must stay at the resort.

We'd love for you to stay and celebrate a long weekend with us, but ultimately you can choose how short or long your stay will be at Finest Playa Mujeres (the resort requires a minimum of 3 nights stay). The Resort & Travel tab has the link and details for booking your room at Finest Playa Mujeres.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE RESORT?

Our wedding is on FRIDAY, JUNE 6TH, 2025

Please plan to arrive at least by Thursday, June 5th at 3:00 PM. Please take into consideration the possibility of flight delays or flight cancellations when booking flights. We'd hate for you to miss out on celebrating with us!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO THE WEDDING?

Because we want our family and friends to be an extension of the wedding party, we kindly ask that you wear shades of mauve, copper, pink, lilac, champagne, beige or taupe to the ceremony. This is not required, just requested. More importantly, we want you to be comfortable in the warm Mexico climate. Please see 'Events' tab to find dress codes for wedding related events.

Bug Spray *Cancun is a humid climate. Please bring bug spray as mosquitos are likely to be present.

*Please note that some restaurants and bars at the resort require "casual elegance" attire, which means no flip flops or shorts. Men, they will not let you into those restaurants for dinner if you are wearing shorts. For more information on dress codes for each restaurant at the resort, please click HERE and select a restaurant to review their specific dress code.*

DO I NEED TO TIP?

Your resort fee has built-in tips for the staff, so you are not obligated to tip the staff. However, if you feel your server/bartender/etc. has delivered exceptional service, then absolutely feel free to tip at your discretion!

CAN I BOOK THE NON-REFUNDABLE OPTION?

Yes you can, but be advised that (1) you will not receive any money back if you need to cancel for any reason, (2) you will not be able to modify your reservation at all and (3) you will be charged the full amount at the time of booking.

We are asking all of our guests to use our Promo Code MSWJUN25FPM and book the EVENTS RATE option because it will include free cancellation up until 24 hours from arrival and free transportation to/from the airport. We would hate for you to lose any money if you have to cancel your stay or in the case that COVID or any other natural disaster forces us to cancel our destination wedding.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FINEST SUITES, FINEST CLUB, AND EXCELLENCE CLUB LEVELS?

Finest Playa Mujeres is a luxury resort, so you will not feel like you are missing out by booking one of their standard rooms (Finest suites).

-Finest Suites - The resorts standard room level. Adults and kids allowed.

-Finest Club - Family club level. Adults and kids allowed. Upgraded in-room premium liquor & wine bottle selection, private pool bar, VIP toiletries, private lounge with concierge service, private beach area, Nespresso machine, daily fruit & petit fours in room, fresh flowers and sparkling wine upon arrival and more...

-Excellence Club - Adults ONLY building. Same club level benefits as Finest Club, except it is for adults only.
