After looking through several options, we have decided not to do a room block. Big chain hotels that allow for room blocks are very expensive, so we suggest staying at a local or boutique hotel or an airbnb.
We recommend you stay in Santurce, Miramar, Condado or Isla Verde. Old San Juan is also a good place to stay at, however, there is usually heavy traffic to go in and out of the area, especially during the weekends. The after party will be in La Placita de Santurce, which is within a 10-15 minute drive to all these places.

Coral Princess Hotel
The Coral Princess Hotel is a 3-star hotel that sits 2 blocks from the beach and is close to several renowned restaurants.
Condado Vanderbilt Hotel
The Condado Vanderbilt is one of the best hotels to stay at in San Juan. It is a 5-star oceanfront hotel with plenty luxuries.
Miramar
Dreams Hotel Miramar
The Dreams Hotel is about a 20 min walk to the Condado Beach and a short walk away from the Laguna del Condado. This 2.5 star hotel is just a 10 min walk to Distrito T-Mobile, a popular entertainment and retail district complex.
Hyatt House San Juan
The Hyatt House Hotel is a 3-star residential-style living hotel just a 9 min walk from Distrito T-Mobile and a 15 min walk to the beach.
Santurce
The Looking Glass Hotel
The Looking Glass Hotel is a 19 room BnB type hotel that is a 20 min walk to the beach and a 15 min walk to La Placita. It is close to good bars and restaurants. We recommend eating at Lote 23 (short 4 min walk) and visiting the Museo de Puerto Rico (10 min walk).
Patio Elba Suites
Patio Elba is a new boutique hotel with 16 rooms that was fully renovated in 2024. It is a short 3 min walk from The Looking Glass hotel and therefore, also less than a 20ish min walk from the beach, La Placita and the Museo de Puerto Rico.
Isla Verde
Verdanza Hotel
The Verdanza Hotel is centrally located near the beach and restaurants, has newly renovated “tropical modern” guest rooms and resort-style amenities.
Embassy Suites by Hilton San Juan Hotel & Casino
The Embassy Suites Hotel is a 3-star hotel just 5 min away from the Luis Muños Marín International Airport.
