One of the most iconic beaches in the world, Ipanema Beach has been immortalized in music, film, and literature. It is also connected to the beautiful Leblon beach. We recommend enjoying the sunset at Apoador (the far edge of Ipanema) where paddle boards can be rented.
Despite being short, this is one of Lorenza's favorite hikes in the city. The trail is filled with one of Rio's cutest residents, the Sagui Mico monkey, and has one of the best views of the city. The climate was much more temperate so they chose to settle in the mountains one hour outside of the city.
