For Coffee Drinkers

Our favorite place is Flat Track Coffee. They have great coffee, food and a cute little side yard. It is located on East Cesar Chavez and shares a space with our favorite bike shop in town.

Texas Coffee Traders, Brew and Brew, Spider House, Houndstooth, Thunderbird, and Radio are all great places to have a good cup of coffee!

For Breakfast Tacos

Taco Deli is an Austin staple. One of our favorite things to do is go grab a couple of tacos at Taco Deli on Spyglass drive and go for a hike on the green belt. The trail entrance is just across the street!

Quickie Pickie, El Chilito, and Torchy's also all have great Breakfast Tacos!

For BBQ

If you have done any research on this topic you are going to find the Franklin's BBQ is the best place for BBQ in town. While this may be true, most of us do not have the time to wait in a 4 hour line. We highly recommend going a few blocks down the road to Micklethwait. Their BBQ is fantastic and has a much shorter line!

For Eatin'

A few of our favorite spots include Ramen Tatsuya, Old Thousand, Buffalina, Hi Hat, Brewer's Table, Sour Duck, Austin Daily Press, Swift's Attic, and Launderette.

For Drinkin'

If you like beer, there are quite a few breweries to visit around town. Most of our favorites are just a short walk from our house! Zilker, Hops and Grain (they have a free comedy show on thursday nights) , and Lazarus are all on East Sixth street. ABGB is located south of the river and has great pizza! And if you are willing to drive a little and like that funky stuff Jester King is a must!

For a place with a great view overlooking Lake Travis Oasis Tap Room is about 30 minutes from Downtown!

If beer isn't your thing there are a few great cocktail bars downtown. Garage, Roosevelt Room, Firehouse Lounge, and the Bar at the Driskill Hotel.

Rainy Street and Sixth Street are also great places to Bar Hop!

If you are sticking around town the weekend after the wedding, we will be hanging out at Jester King Brewery Saturday afternoon. Come enjoy a beer, a glass of wine or some pizza at this beautiful Hill Country Brewery.
