Thank you for being part of our special day.

Paul and I are so excited to celebrate our wedding day with all of you. Your presence at these celebrations is the greatest gift we could ask for. We truly cherish the love and support of our dear family and friends — it is the most meaningful gift of all in our lives.

I know poor Vee has been fielding requests regarding wedding gifts and gift lists. Truly, we do not want gifts — your attendance at our day is more than enough. However, as some of you are determined to ignore “no” as an answer, we

have decided to suggest to our friends and family the following:

As we begin our journey as a married couple, we have chosen to focus on creating lasting memories together rather than collecting traditional gifts. We have all the pots, pans, toasters, and kettles we could need, so instead we are asking

for contributions towards our honeymoon experiences.

We believe that travel and adventure will bring us closer together and allow us to make beautiful memories — whether that’s a food tour, a cocktail on the beach, riding a donkey, or enjoying a lovely lunch. This will also give us the opportunity to share those experiences with you through pictures of us two “oldies” having fun!

More importantly, in the spirit of charity, we also plan to donate a substantial portion of these funds to St Mungo’s. We are so privileged to have a beautiful home, a safe roof over our heads, and a loving place for Obee. St Mungo’s is a

remarkable charity that provides secure shelter for rough sleepers, allowing them to keep their dogs with them when they enter the refuge. A part of your generous gift will help support their vital work that makes a real difference to these poor homeless people’s lives. It is very important to us to share our joy by giving back and supporting those who are not as fortunate as we are.

If you do wish to make a contribution — whether as a donation to the charity or as a monetary gift towards our honeymoon — though please, please know it is absolutely not necessary; however, your generosity would help St Mungo’s and their furry babies, and would help make such a positive difference to their lives.
