Train

If travelling via train, your best bet it heading to Halifax Railway Station. You can get there directly (or via Leeds) from London Kings Cross. This takes just over 3 hours. Sowerby Bridge Railway Station is closer, but not as easy to get to. You can book trains via https://www.thetrainline.com/ Prices really vary so we recommend you book well in advance!

(You could also go to Huddersfield instead of Halifax, but why would you want to do that...?)

Bus

A National Express coach runs between London Victoria and Halifax, taking between 6 and 7 hours depending on the time of day and traffic. You can also book this at https://www.thetrainline.com/

Airport

The nearest airports are Manchester and Leeds Bradford.

If you fly to Manchester, you can get a train to Halifax for approx. £10. Taxis will also be available but the cheapest we've managed to find online was £70!

If you fly to Leeds Bradford Airport, you will need to get a bus to Bradford Interchange and then a train to Halifax (approx. £15 in total) . You can alternatively get a taxi for approx. £50.

Tren

Si viajas en tren, la estacion mas conveniente es Halifax Railway Station. Podes llegar ahi desde Kings Cross en Londres (directo o via Leeds). Son 3 horas en tren desde Londres. Sowerby Bridge Railway Station es una estacion mas cercana, pero no es de facil acceso. Reserva tu tren usando https://www.thetrainline.com/ Los precios varan mucho asi que recomendamos reservar con mucha anticipacion.

Bus - Micro

Hay un micro de National Express que sale de London Victoria hasta Halifax, pero tarda entre 6 y 7 horas dependiendo el transito. Se reserva tambien visitando https://www.thetrainline.com/

Aeropuerto

Los aeropuertos mas cercanos son Manchester y Leeds Bradford.

Si volas a Manchester, te podes tomar un tren a Halifax por aprox £10. Taxis tambien estan disponibles pero no bajan de £70!

Si volas a Leeds Bradford Airport, vas a tener que tomar un autobus a Bradford Interchange y despues un tren a Halifax (approx. £15 en total) . O tomarte un taxi desde el aeropuerto por aprox. £50.

As is the case with most of Calderdale, The Venue is a bit of a pain to access via public transport, so we'd recommend getting a taxi. Halifax has now got Uber (fancy!), but there's also loads of local firms who might be a bit cheaper!

A cab will probably cost you about £10 from the town centre (don't quote me on that...)

For those of you driving from further afield, The Venue is easily accessible off the M62. Leave the M62 at Junction 24, at the roundabout take the 2nd exit (A629). Follow the road until you come to a set of traffic lights, turn left and at the mini roundabout take the first exit following signs for Stainland Road B6114. At the 2nd set of traffic lights turn right onto Saddleworth Road (B6114), after 1.3 miles turn left onto Branch Road, after 0.5 miles turn left into Bowers Mill. (Or just put it into your SatNav like a normal person...).

El area de Calderdale, es un poco el medio de la nada asi que el acceso con transporte publico es limitado. Les recomendamos tomarse un taxi o el recientemente agregado servicio de Uber (toma mate Halifax tiene uber). Aca hay algunas remiserias por si quieren coordinar:

Auto

Para los que manejan, al salon se accede desde la M62. Usen la salida Junction 24, en la rotonda tomen la segunda salida (A629). En el semaforo, gira a la izquierda y en la mini rotonda la primer salida, siguiendo carteles hacia Stainland Road B6114. En el segundo semaforo, dobla a la derecha hacia Saddleworth Road (B6114), despues de 1.3 millas gira a la izquiera en Branch Road, despues de 0.5 millas gira a la izquierda en el salon Bowers Mill. (O PONELO EN EL GPS COMO UNA PERSONA NORMAL!)
