Hello! My name is Molly and I’m the Maid of Honor. Taryn and I have been inseparable since the struggles of 8th grade algebra class. From unfortunate color guard costumes to adventures out of state and all of the frozen yogurt runs in between, we’ve gone through it all side-by-side.

Hi! My name is Tori Plocek! I have had the privilege of knowing Taryn and Lucas these past two years! I have been able to do Bible studies with them and get to know their heart within the study but also for one another! Taryn and Lucas are both people who care for others and are intentional with their friendships, which I admire and know that the Lord will use that in their marriage! I am so excited to see what the Lord has in store for these two in this upcoming season! As they embark on this new chapter of their journey together, I am honored and excited to stand by their side and celebrate the beautiful union they share.

Taryn and I met in eighth grade as cadets for a winterguard group. I will say I wasn’t very welcoming of new people (still not). But slowly throughout the years I started to get to know Taryn. She has become my therapist, athletic trainer, and most importantly one of my best friends. And ever since then, she’s been stuck with me.

Hey everyone! My name is Georgia Lamont and I am one of the bridesmaids! Taryn and I met while we were on the SLC winter guard cadet team in the 8th grade, and we have been friends ever since! We were teammates for five years, and in that time got to travel and perform all over the US.

I had the pleasure of meeting Taryn in the early years of our Sunday School classes. Almost ten years later, I am blessed to say that our friendship has stood the test of time, lasting through countless Sunday mornings, four years of marching band, and one grueling year (for me more than her) of high school Biology. I am forever grateful for having her as a constant in my life.

Lucas and I met in the fall of 2022 while we were on a hike at Caprock Canyon. We started referring to each other as “cousins” because we shared the same last name and quickly became friends. We decided to room together and ever since then, he has helped me grow in my faith and become a better man. I’m proud to call Lucas my best friend and I thank God for bringing him into my life.

Lucas and I met while hiking in Caprock Canyon State Park when he was a freshman at Texas Tech University. We quickly became friends. Something that I admire in Lucas is his willingness to have spiritually stimulating conversations. I have very much enjoyed having these conversations over some coffee, as well fishing with him at the lake. I’m grateful to have Lucas as a friend and look forward to watching his marriage with Taryn flourish.

I met Lucas through work and at church. I enjoyed getting to spend time with him whether that was working or going to church with him. He has helped me to grow as a man and as a follower of Christ. I am honored to have him as one of my closest friends.

I haven’t known Lucas for the longest time, but in the few years I’ve known him he’s been one of the most dedicated and reliable friends I’ve ever had. His witty comebacks and smile make him a blast to be around, whether it’s hanging out after church or a job that we both don’t want to be at. I can always count on Lucas to be himself and give it to me straight, and I can’t wait to see him and Taryn happily married. 

Lucas is my little brother, it’s been a pleasure to watch him grow up into the man he has become. He is a smart, hardworking, Christian man. Looking forward to seeing the life he continues to build for himself with Taryn.
