“Elevated casual” means polished and intentional, but not formal. Think nice restaurant / stylish celebration, not office casual and definitely not backyard barbecue.

For women: A mid or knee-length dress, stylish jumpsuit, dressy separates, or a polished skirt/blouse combination. Fabrics and prints can be relaxed and colorful—florals are great. Dressy sandals, flats, wedges, or heels all work. A floor-length gown is unnecessary.

For men: Chinos, nice jeans or dress trousers with a button-down shirt, polo, or similarly collared shirt. A blazer is welcome but not required, and neither is a tie. Loafers, leather shoes, suede shoes, or modern sneakers can work depending on the outfit.
