Mitchell International Airport is located about 10 minutes from downtown Milwaukee and is a very easy airport to navigate to and from. For travelers from afar, Chicago O'Hare provides many direct flights from most major cities in the world and is roughly a 1.5 hour drive from downtown Milwaukee. There are also connecting flights from Chicago to Milwaukee if you prefer not to drive.

On average, Labor Day in Milwaukee brings warm, sunny weather with high temperatures in the low to mid-70s, though it can be warmer or cooler depending on the year.
