Our Wedding

Like all great modern romances, ours began with a dating app. Jeff slid into Lucy’s Hinge messages with the unforgettable line: “Does Lucy also keep you up at night?” — referring to her cat, not realizing he hadn’t actually read her whole profile. Classic Jeff move.Our first date was at the Neville Public Museum, which quickly turned into a downtown walking marathon (Jeff’s favorite activity). Lucy, however, had not been warned about the miles ahead and made some questionable footwear choices. Lesson learned: always ask Jeff for a mileage estimate before agreeing to “a quick walk.”It didn’t take long for us to realize this was something special. We became inseparable, moved in together after a year, and immediately sparked a feline turf war. Jeff’s cat Batman declared Lucy’s cat the enemy, and eventually relocated to Minnesota with Jeff’s parents. (Huge shoutout to Ron and Mary for bravely fostering our little troublemaker!)Fast forward to June 2025: Jeff had a grand proposal plan… which got completely rained out. After a day of suspicious behavior from Jeff and Morgan (our Matron of Honor), Jeff improvised at Cave Point County Park. With waves crashing dramatically behind us, he delivered the most romantic line of all time: “So, do you uh, wanna get married?”And here we are — planning our big day(s), ready to celebrate with all of you!

Bringing Kiddos? This is a great place to explore and learn! Fun fact this was our second choice for a wedding venue as well!

North Lakeland Discovery Center

This place holds a special place in Lucy's heart, this is where her family camped almost every summer growing up. There is a beautiful beach and a hiking trail around the lake (you do have to cross some areas on logs so proceed with caution). This is also a great place to go fishing!

Clear Lake Campground

This zoo has free range deer and baby goats, I think that's enough additional information.

Wildwood Wildlife Park Zoo & Safari

This trail is beautiful and nice and flat for all skill levels - bringing a bike? this trail is 18 miles and will take you through some of the best forest views the area has to offer

Most of you live locally for our Green Bay event and know all the great places, but if you aren't, here are a few of Jeff and I's favorite places for you to try out! Breakfast:Cafe Con Crema cannot be beat, a great variety of option, great coffee and fresh squeezed juice! We are frequent flyers here but make sure to get there early to beat the rush! Delilah's is a small place downtown, they have the absolute best lattes and make fresh cinnamon sugar donuts that are so so good. Lunch:For my fellow pickle lovers head on over to Brickhouse in De Pere, where you start your meal with a pickle flight. Burgers are great but don't sleep on the pulled pork nachos! Dinner:We love a good beer and a pizza from Copper State Brewing Co. this is also a great place to just split a bunch of appetizers they are all so good!

We ask for our wedding that you refrain from wearing Grey or Black - lean into those earth and jewel tones! If you don't want to match the wedding party, avoid Olive Green (Guys) and Wine Red (Ladies)!No rules for the reception in December - still Semi Formal but all colors are fair game!
