Nestled in Silverado Canyon and less than 20 minutes away from the reception location is this beautiful Catholic abbey of Norbertine priests and brothers. Their community is committed to daily prayer and worship and most liturgies are open to the public. Join them for daily prayer, adoration, or Mass during your stay in Orange Country. If a California beach day is on your bucket list, then head to Newport Beach just 7 miles away from the church. Some of the O'Haras' favorite summer activities include spending days sunbathing and swimming down at the beach, walking the boardwalk and eating frozen bananas, and taking the ferry to Balboa Island. There is no better way to spend a day in California than under the sun and on the sand.

Peter's Canyon is our go-to hiking trail when the weather is nice. Parking is $3, and the park is open from sunrise to sunset every day. Stop at TruBru Organic Coffee afterward for breakfast or a treat :)
