When is the cheapest time to buy my plane tickets?

The best time to buy your plane tickets to Rome will be in October. In August, I would start tracking the prices from your major airport to Rome that way you can get the lowest price. In our past trips, I have always purchased our one way in Oct (500-600) then I purchase the way back in late November or December for a June trip. The google price tracker will help you find the best price. I will also be updating everyone as the time gets closer as to when to buy. Sometimes you can find roundtrip for 600-900 pp around 6-8 months prior.

What is there to do during FREE TIME?

Aside from taking the time to explore the village, lounging by the pool and taking in Petritoli's beauty, its shops cafes, vendors and restaurants, there are many nearby towns to visit. The beach is 20 minutes away and we will provide a list of extracurricular activities such as cooking classes, biking, hiking, and a pizza making challenge that are all available to our group for an additional costs through turis.marche. As we get closer to the date you will be receiving a list of activities that you can take part in if you choose.

What if I want to extend my stay??

The castle is only rented for BIG parties- there is a 4 night minimum- there are no individual reservations however, if you plan to stay a few days in Rome, Petritoli, or surrounding areas, let us know- we know the area pretty well and can guide you when choosing hotels and sights to see!! Anything we can do to help your trip, we are here for you.

Do I need travel insurance??

Pimber and I highly suggest purchasing travel insurance approx 6 months prior to the trip. There are many sites that offer it but we have found that Faye offers great rates but Allianz, AAA, and Nationwide offer policies also. This will protect you from delays, cancellations, lost luggage, emergency health and dental situations and more importantly will give you peace of mind. Policies are very inexpensive and well worth it. Ask Pimber why it is so important- he has a story for you.

Are there grocery stores for additonal liquor, snacks etc?

Absolutely. Petritoli has a grocery store and there are several markets in the area.

What businesses are in Petritoli?

The village has supermarkets, shops, pharmacies, bakeries, butchers, bars, barber, bank, coffee bars, gelato, restaurants, pizzerias, a museum, outdoor cinema, and a 24 hour emergency hospital.

Are kids allowed to attend??

Absolutely. Although the Palazzo is not CHILD PROOF by any means, has many stairs, creeks and crevices, as long as they have adult supervision, kids have definitely attended the castle. Keep in mind some of the antique pieces throughout the castle are over 400 years old so please be mindful when watching over the kiddos! Additionally, there is child care available providing activities for them at an additional charge. Adult supervision is also needed for children 16 and under in the pool/jacuzzi areas :)

What if I have additional questions??

EASY..contact Rhonda..she will help you through all aspects of this journey.
