Mandy and Luke met in the fall of 2021. Mandy was a junior at Notre Dame and Luke had just started graduate school. We found each other on a dating app, and finally after a few weeks of talking, Mandy agreed to go on a date with Luke. It only took a few more dates before Mandy and Luke both realized that they had found their soulmate and partner for life.

Travel InformationBY AIRTo South Bend.&nbsp;You can book a flight to South Bend International Airport, located about 15 minutes from the Notre Dame campus. Ride sharing apps like Uber or Lyft run approximately $15-$20 USD. If you choose to rent a car, the airport has representatives from most of the major car rental agencies. To Chicago. Flights to the two major Chicago area airports, O’Hare International Airport or Midway International Airport, are often cheaper but require additional commute to South Bend by car or rail.You can take public transit from the airports into downtown Chicago (Chicago Transit Authority; Blue Line from O’Hare or Orange Line from Midway) and catch the&nbsp;<a href="http://www.mysouthshoreline.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">South Shore Line</a>&nbsp;commuter train, which departs from Millennium Station and terminates at the South Bend Regional Airport. (See section below on arriving by rail.) If you choose to drive, South Bend is about 2.5 hours from O’Hare Airport and 1.5 to 2.0 hours from Midway Airport, depending on traffic. A third option that will avoid that will avoid the Chicago hassle is to fly into either Grand Rapids, MI or Indianapolis, IN, and drive a rental car to South Bend. Both drives are roughly two hours.
