We met at Nicholls State University where we were both student-athletes, partly due to being two of the tallest people in south Louisiana.


At Nicholls, Parker played baseball and Lydia played volleyball, we both joined XA (pronounced Chi Alpha; an Assemblies of God on-campus group that focuses on college ministry) and re-found our faith in Jesus. Lydia graduated with her bachelor's degree in marketing and Parker graduated with his bachelor's degree in management and master's degree in business administration.


Currently, we are dating long distance while Parker works in Dallas in medical oncology sales, and Lydia is interning at ULL with Chi Alpha doing campus ministry.


After marriage, we plan on continuing to serve the Lord by ministering to college students, coworkers, and our neighbors.
