Our Wedding

We met at Nicholls State University where we were both student-athletes, partly due to being two of the tallest people in south Louisiana.   At Nicholls, Parker played baseball and Lydia played volleyball, we both joined XA (pronounced Chi Alpha; an Assemblies of God on-campus group that focuses on college ministry) and re-found our faith in Jesus. Lydia graduated with her bachelor's degree in marketing and Parker graduated with his bachelor's degree in management and master's degree in business administration.   Currently, we are dating long distance while Parker works in Dallas in medical oncology sales, and Lydia is interning at ULL with Chi Alpha doing campus ministry.   After marriage, we plan on continuing to serve the Lord by ministering to college students, coworkers, and our neighbors.

I was teammates and roommates with Parker at  Nicholls State University. While we lived together I was almost kicked off of the baseball team for a tweet that was meant to only be direct messaged to Parker, but I tweeted it publicly.

I am the sister of the groom so Parker and I have been built in best friends since day one. I am so honored to have gotten a front row seat to the work God is doing in and through Parker, and I’m so thankful that he found someone as beautiful as Lydia to build a life with. I am starting my third year of vet school at Mississippi State and loving every minute of it. I can’t wait to see where God takes me and how he uses me in this career!

I was teammates and roommates with Parker at Paris Junior College. 
I loved Paris Junior college so much that I stayed for a third year before going to Kansas State and falling in love with Kansas, and staying there going on 4 years now (2 two as a players and two as a coach).

I have hiked the Grand Canyon and am a Capo (yell/chant leader) for the St. Louligans Soccer supporters.

I am one of Parker's oldest friends, Parker and I have known each other for our entire lives. 
I also started my master's degree after and finished it before Parker did his.

Here are the hotels that have blocks reserved for our guests. If you are traveling to DFW a little early, we welcome you to stay with us at the Element, closer to Dallas and different activities. If you'd like to be closer to our venue on the night of the wedding we also have rooms reserved in Waxahachie.
