Our story began when Lydia was a freshman and Michael was a sophomore in high school over 14 years ago. Michael asked Lydia to be her date for her first homecoming dance. We became an "official" couple only a few months later over Thanksgiving break and have been inseparable since.

We've shared so many fun/exciting/big experiences together throughout those years- helping each other with homework (let's be honest- it was always Michael helping Lydia), high school dances, high school graduations, moving out to Ann Arbor to attend the University of Michigan, traveling out of the country for the first time together, buying our first home in Kalamazoo where we lived through covid hosting family and friends (shout out to the Sig Up family Roger, Bri and Adam!), adopting our fur children (Chestnut the rabbit and Rue the corgi), living apart for two long years while Lydia finished PA school, buying a breathtaking property while trying our best to homestead at a distance (we learned the hard way that blueberry bushes do not like our clay soil).

That takes us to where we are today- putting the final touches on our very own dream home and planning our long-awaited wedding ceremony.
