Our Wedding

How We Met

On August 15, 2015, we (Brandon and Lyndsay) were introduced by mutual friends, Joe and Ann Marie Conrad. Little did we know, that day would begin our adventure together. The following day Brandon sent me (Lyndsay) a message via social media saying he had a great time together and he would like to get to know me better over dinner and a movie. A couple weeks went by and then we went on our first date together. Brandon was a gentleman and opened the door of his truck when he picked me up and then we were on our way to go see a movie at the Regal. (Side Note: Brandon still opens the doors for me on a regular basis—definitely a keeper in my book). After the movie, Brandon went to take me to dinner at Quaker Steak and Lube since it was one of his favorite places to go, but as we pulled up to the restaurant, we noticed a sign on the door saying they were permanently closing their doors beginning that night (of course our luck). So we had to make a quick decision as to where else we would like to go for dinner. We then decided to go to Dave & Busters in the Eastern Hills Mall. We got to talking and getting to know each other a little more over dinner. After dinner, we played some games..because who goes to Dave & Busters for just a meal? Absolutely no one! Even though this was our first date with one another, we didn’t head home until 1 or 2 AM. We were obviously having a great time together, even though we barely knew each other. From that day forward, we have been pretty inseparable. After months of getting to know each other better, I finally agreed to become Brandon’s girlfriend over Valentine’s Day dinner at the Melting Pot. Over the past 7 years, we have become each other’s best friend and neither of us could picture our lives without one another by our side.

The Proposal

On June 19, 2021, we went to Long Cliff Winery, with some of our closest friends and family. Brandon had this whole day planned for quite some time now. He told me that we were just going for a wine tasting and a tour of the winery with a small group of friends. The owner of the winery, Kevin, walked all of us out to the vineyards acting like he was giving us a tour until he directed the show towards Brandon. Next thing I knew Brandon was down on one knee with a beautiful ring in his hand popping the question. I was in such disbelief and immediately I said YES with tears running down my face (happy tears, of course!).   Brandon, It may have taken you three tries to ask me to become your girlfriend, but without hesitation, I said yes to being your wife on your first try!   Thank you all for following our journey together over the years, and we CANNOT wait to celebrate becoming husband and wife in front of all of our closest family and friends.   Cheers to becoming Mr. and Mrs. LaRoach!

Unfortunately the hotels in the area of Medina do not offer room blocks. If you’re traveling from afar, please try to book a room as soon as you’re able to. 

Campers & tents are welcome to be set up on the venue property as early as the evening of Friday June 23, 2023 and must leave the premises by Sunday, June 25, 2023 at 10:30AM. There are no utilities out there so guests would just be parking their campers in the field. If guests would like to bring a generator that is fine. Just no campers in the back field directly behind the barn. For any questions, please feel free to reach out to Lyndsay or Brandon.
