Our Wedding

Guest Information

We would like to thank you for celebrating our marriage with us! We hope you're as excited as we are and understand you may have some questions. We will try to answer as many questions as we can here but please feel free to reach out to us if you have any more.

How Do I RSVP?

I've you're viewing this page you've probably already received our Save the Date cards. We plan to send RVSPs by early May. We are hoping to offer both online and traditional mail-in RVSPs. Please reach out to us if you are concerned about your RSVP.

Can I Bring a +1?

As it stands, we are pretty tight on our RVSP list due to various limitations. For those married, we have included your spouse in our count. If you have a +1 you'd like to invite and they weren't included in your invite, please reach out to us and we will let you know if we can accommodate.

Can My Kids Come?

We love you and your kids, however, we have made the decision to not allow anyone under 21 at our wedding. We understand that this may make it difficult for you to attend and are sorry. Given the limited space, alcohol at the reception and that our entire celebration will be held outside in the summer, we felt it was best to not include children. Please note that the only children in attendance will be those involved in the wedding or belonging to those in the wedding party.

Will There Be Transportation to/from the Venue?

While there is a free parking garage across the street from the venue, we understand that some of you may not have a vehicle or intend to have a few drinks and prefer not to drive. There is currently no official shuttle or driving service, however Charlotte offers plenty of public transit, including the light rail, only a couple of blocks from the Venue as well as plenty of driver services, such as Uber and Lyft.

What about Masks and Social Distance Restrictions?

We are adhering to the advice of the CDC as well as restrictions of the NC State Guidelines. Currently, for vaccinated individuals, all mask and social distancing restrictions are lifted. You may, however, continue wearing a mask per your comfort level. For individuals who have not been vaccinated, or those with severely compromised immune systems, mask are still highly suggested, especially when going indoors (such as the restrooms at our venue). Our goal is to create an environment where all of our guests can feel safe and enjoy celebrating with us. That’s one reason we are holding the entire event outdoors. Please feel free to reach out if you have any concerns or questions.

Hotels & Lodging

While we hope celebrating with us will be the highlight of your trip to Charlotte, there are a lot of great things to see and do while here. If you’re only visiting for the weekend or coming for an extended trip, there’s something for everyone. Here’s a few suggestions:

Grab a drink or a bite to eat while taking in the view of Uptown Charlotte from this fun rooftop restaurant. Features valet parking but is close to most of the uptown hotels, enough to walk if you don’t mind a few blocks. This is the only restaurant on the list because eating at the top of the city is such a cool experience!

Fahrenheit Charlotte

Love science, technology and playing with both? Discovery Place is a must. Great for the whole family but they feature “Science on the Rocks” nights where adults can have a few drinks while playing with science. it also features a unique, domed, IMAX theater for a great, immersive, watching experience.

Discovery Place Science

Checkout the immortalized history of NASCAR, who has located their official Hall of Fame in Charlotte! Features memories, moments and real memorabilia from the sports legends, as well as cool interactive features. Located directly in uptown so it’s easy to visit!

NASCAR Hall of Fame

More than just white water rafting, the USNWC is a great place to just hang out. If you’re adventurous you can rent bikes, do wall climbing, zip lining, canopy tours, flat water kayaking, trail walking and yes, white water rafting! Admission is free (there’s a fee for parking) and you can buy passes or rent equipment for the events.

U.S. National Whitewater Center

Sitting on the NC/SC border, this amusement park supports both thrill rides as well as entertainment based rides. Not to forget about the water park, it’s a great time for anyone!

Carowinds

Charlotte features two locations of this national chain. Whether you’re a pro or a first time novice, it’s a lot of fun! Walk-ins are available but if you want to guarantee a spot, book early!

Topgolf

That’s not all…

There’s so much to do in Charlotte. Between the attractions and great restaurants, the sporting events and shows, Charlotte’s Got a Lot! Check out the Charlotte’sGotALot website for more details on things to do while visiting.
