Q + A

General Q&As:

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Yes, we are calling it Garden Party Formal! Come dressed in your best formal attire and have fun incorporating fun summer colors! We ask you to not wear any of the traditional bridal colors (white, ivory, and cream). For gentlemen, this typically means a suit and tie, with the option to add a touch of personality through lighter colors or seasonal accessories. A black or dark color suit is acceptable. For ladies, think elegant dresses that are knee-length or longer. Dresses in floral patterns, pastel hues, or vibrant summer colors are perfect for the garden party theme. Please note the bridesmaids will be wearing pale yellow dresses!

What will the weather be like on the wedding day?

Although we can't predict the weather, July in Seattle typically promises mild and pleasant weather. The average temperatures in July range from around 70 to 80 degrees. While we recommend planning for a day that will be sunny with a chance of a light breeze, we also advise bringing a light layer for the evening just in case!

Where should I stay?

We have arranged special rates with nearby hotels for your convenience. Please check our travel page for more details.

How should I get there?

Transportation to and from our ceremony and reception will not be arranged. If you plan on driving, there is street parking available surrounding the church and free parking available at the parking lot at Newcastle Golf Course.

Who should I contact if I have questions about the wedding?

If you have any additional questions regarding wedding details, travel information, or about your invite specifically, please reach out to Tiffany Buck (bucktm@msn.com or 425-246-4687) or Mackenzie Buck (mackenzielbuck@gmail.com or 425-802-6851).

RSVP Q&As:

How do I RSVP and when do I need to RSVP by?

You can RSVP in the RSVP tab on our website. Please RSVP by May 31st. We will not be able to accommodate any late RSVPs.

Are children invited to the wedding day?

While we adore your children, we have decided to host an adults-only (18+) celebration. We hope this choice allows all our guests, including parents, to relax and enjoy an evening of dining, dancing, and celebrating without worry. We appreciate your understanding and hope you are still able to join us on this special day.

Can I bring a plus one?

We would love to keep our wedding as intimate as possible. If you received a plus one, it will appear under your name when you RSVP through the website. We appreciate you understanding.Unfortunately, we could not give everyone a plus one due to our venue's capacity. When you RSVP, it will clearly indicate the party size and if you can bring a plus one. We appreciate your understanding! If you have any questions, please reach out to Mackenzie (425-802-6851) or Diego (425-615-3880) directly.

Ceremony Q&As:

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

The ceremony will begin at 2pm. We ask you to please arrive about 20-30 minutes early, so we can be sure to start the ceremony on time. Once the ceremony begins, the doors will not re-open!

Where should I sit at the ceremony?

The first three rows of the church will be reserved for the bride and groom's immediate families and the wedding party. The bride's family and friends can sit on the left side and the grooms family and friends can sit on the right side.

Reception Q&As:

What time should I arrive to the reception?

The reception will begin at 7pm! There will be a happy hour from 7pm-8pm and dinner will be served shortly after.

What should I do in between the ceremony and reception?

There will be about a 4 hour gap in between the ceremony and reception. If you are looking for something to do during this time, please check out the "Things to Do" tab for our recommendations of things to do in the Seattle and Bellevue areas!

Where should I sit at the reception?

There will be assigned seating at our reception. We will have your assigned table number at the entrance of our reception.
