Mackenzie and Kinner met August of 2021 at University of Arkansas -Fort Smith. This was Kinners first year at UAFS playing his 5th and final year of baseball while Kenzie was in her junior year of nursing school. Kinner was the first to approach Kenzie to have a conversation, but despite what you might think Kenzie was the first one to ask for his number. Kinner and Mackenzie didn’t officially go on a date till the end of September when Kinner had asked Kenzie to go to the Read Southall Band concert with him. After the first date, Kenzie and Kinner spent just about everyday together going on dates and hanging out, but it wasn’t till December of 2021, that we made it official!

After spending a year in Fort Smith together, Kenzie had graduated in December of 2022 and at that time moved back to NWA while three months later Kinner moved to Little Rock. They started a mid- distance relationship, but both of them have spent almost every free moment driving back and forth to spend time together. In September of 2023, Kinner went to Philadelphia for a work trip and Kenzie decided to visit for a few days. On September 17th, while Kenzie was visiting him, Kinner proposed at Longwood Gardens, PA and of course, Kenzie said YES! Kinner had originally made up a whole story telling Kenzie that they had a super fancy work event at a vineyard to go to so they had to dress nice and everyone he worked with was in on it. Kinner set up a shocking proposal for Kenzie with a photographer to capture every moment for our families to see back in Arkansas.

The couple loves spending time together doing anything and everything, but our favorite things to do together are watching movies, going on dinner dates, hiking, snowboarding, and spending time with each others families. Kinner and Kenzie are very excited to spend forever together while having each and everyone of you guys there to celebrate our special day. We will see you on October 5th, 2024!!
