Union Station is beautiful. They typically have an exhibit showing such as dinosaurs, body worlds, or Da'vinci. We try to go to each new exhibit. Even if you don't go to an exhibit, it's a must see!

Enjoy the local farmers market with fresh grown food, the most beautiful flowers, and much more - including people watching. This is the perfect place to walk around on a beautiful Saturday morning.

Even if you don't pay to do the museum tour, the memorial is a very cool site and has a great view of the downtown Kansas City skyline.

Grinders is a local, unique bar and has great food. They are known for their pizza, but the California BLT is so good.

The Plaza is a historical, upscale shopping district with over 100 shops and 30 restaurants.

Power and Light is a bar and restaurant district with live shows and entertainment. No Other Pub is our favorite bar in the district. It has pool, ping pong, bowling, and a digital golf simulator!

The absolute BEST late night cheeseburger - hands down!

Margarita's is a great mexican spot close to downtown. Southwest Boulevard has plenty of options if you're feeling mexican - but Margarita's is one of our favorites!

Johnny's is a great place for tavern style food. The pepperjack cheese bites are a delicious appetizer and the menu has plenty of options for those picky eaters!

Unique place with delicious beer choices. This brewery is among five or so in the area. They are all good, but this one is our favorite!
