As many of you know or have experienced, MacKenzie has quite&nbsp;excitement and a special love for trains. Matt knew that someway, somehow, he would get her on a train to pop the question.&nbsp; One night in August, they&nbsp;had&nbsp;planned to go on a dinner train in Baldwin,&nbsp;Kansas. While awaiting to board the train,&nbsp;a gentleman came over and asked if they&nbsp;wanted to get on&nbsp;the locomotive. MacKenzie's eyes lit up and pure joy swept across her face as they&nbsp;followed the man to the front of the train to get on the engine.&nbsp;They&nbsp;boarded the engine and the engineer moved the train&nbsp;a few feet&nbsp;and even blew the whistle. MacKenzie was overjoyed.&nbsp;Matt tapped her on the shoulder and as she turned around in the engine, he&nbsp;was down on one knee to pop the question.&nbsp;And of course she said YES!

Union Station is beautiful. They typically have an exhibit showing such as dinosaurs, body worlds, or Da'vinci.&nbsp;We try to go to each new exhibit. Even if you don't go to an exhibit, it's a must see!

Enjoy the local farmers market with fresh grown food,&nbsp;the most beautiful flowers, and much more - including people watching. This is the perfect place to walk around&nbsp;on a beautiful Saturday morning.&nbsp;

Even if you don't pay to do the museum tour, the memorial is a very cool site and has a great view of the downtown Kansas City skyline.

National WWI Museum and Memorial

Grinders is a local, unique bar and&nbsp;has great food. &nbsp;They are known for their pizza, but the&nbsp;California BLT&nbsp;is so good.

The Plaza is a historical,&nbsp;upscale shopping district with over 100 shops and 30 restaurants.&nbsp;

Power and Light is a bar and restaurant district with live shows and entertainment.&nbsp; No Other Pub is our favorite bar in the district. It has pool, ping pong, bowling, and a digital golf simulator!

Margarita's is a great mexican spot close to downtown. Southwest Boulevard has plenty of options if you're feeling mexican - but Margarita's is one of our favorites!
