Our love story began June 2021. DJ was out in Wrigleyville celebrating a new job he got and Mackenzie was out in Wrigleyville celebrating her friend’s birthday. They both were at Old Crow having a good time. Mackenzie’s friend said “That guy over there keeps staring at you.” Mackenzie looks and it’s DJ. DJ waves from across the bar to her very awkwardly. Nothing comes of it and he proceeds to walk to the bar. Mackenzie and her friend followed DJ to the bar and they all started talking. DJ got Mackenzie’s number and then went separate ways because Mackenzie and her friend were hungry and walked to McDonald’s. Mackenzie and her friend went back to Old Crow after eating McDonald’s and ran back into DJ. They continued their conversation and continued to text that night. DJ invited Mackenzie on a date one week later and the rest is history!
