Adam and Mackenzie both began college attending Otterbein University in Fall 2021. They met one weekend after moving in on August 28, 2021. They both happened to be out with friends in Columbus, about 20 minutes away from Otterbein's campus. The story goes that Mackenzie saw Adam and made the first move...the rest is history!

Adam and Mackenzie began dating about a month after meeting on September 22, 2021. Their first date was walking to Dairy Queen on State Street in Westerville, OH!

Adam proposed to Mackenzie the day before Thanksgiving on November 27, 2024. They were in the middle of hiking on a trail when Adam told Kenzie he saw something and wanted her to come see. When Kenzie came over to where Adam was, he popped the question! Mackenzie truly did not see it coming!

Adam had is best friend since childhood, Kole, hiding in camo in the woods to capture the moment. Thanks for braving the cold for the couple, Kole!

By their wedding date of 10/24/25, Mackenzie and Adam will have been together for just over 4 years! The couple have made many memories together, established traditions, and done lots of traveling in this time!
