Where can we stay?

Bloomington has many hotels and houses to stay at but, Nashville IN is about 35 minutes from our venue if you would rather stay near the County. I have listed below three different accommodations to give you a starting point of places to stay

Will food be served?

Come hungry we will have dinner, sweet treats and a late night snack. Food will be self serve bar style. I will add the full menu closer to wedding date that way if anyone has dietary restrictions prior accommodations can be made. We only have one option being served

Are kids allowed at the wedding?

Yes, absolutely! We just request that they are tended to at all times so nothing is broken and no one is hurt!

Is there an open bar?

There will be a bartender at our wedding, but it is a cash bar. Bring ID’s, they will not serve without proof of age.

What is the dress code?

We do not require specific attire but request that it’s kept semi-formal and that white, ivory, cream or tan outfits are AVOIDED.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will start at 4 PM, we ask that everyone is there by 3:45 so you can be seated and there are no interruptions once ceremony starts

Can I bring a plus one?

We regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Is there parking available onsite?

There is plenty of parking available onsite. Anne is kind enough to allow vehicles to stay overnight but, if you need to come back and get your car for any reason please have it picked up by 9AM, there is a wedding next day!

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail it in?

Although mailing in RSVPs is easier for some we have it set up where it will keep track of everyone’s answers for us on this website. If you cannot get it to work or need help, you can message Cole or I, and we can help you out in your answer. This is really just to help us. We ask that even if you cannot make it you respond to the RSVP because we will be using that number to buy the right amount of food!

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by March 31st whether you’re able to make it or have to miss it!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Weather doesn’t always cooperate but, our plan is to have an outdoor ceremony on the hill behind the barn and come to the barn for the reception. The barn has sliding doors we will keep open as well and food will be served on patio. There is alternatives if the weather doesn’t work out. Dress accordingly!

Will there be a gap between ceremony and reception?

The bride and groom will not be doing first looks so, all of their pictures and big family pictures will be after the ceremony. The cash bar will be open at 4:30, the dj will start music and there are plenty of lawn games to be played while we finish our photos

Gifts?

We do not have a honeymoon fund website, neither of us knew how to work them. And of course a physical card or gift card is great. We understand not everyone knows how to work all of these websites or has access.

Where can gifts be sent?

We attached a slip to the invites. We didn’t set up a site specific to honeymoon funds. We know not everyone knows how to work all of these sites. So our home address is 5967 Marco Street, Plainfield, IN, 46168 Or a card is always nice

Unplugged ceremony?

We would like everyone to be present in the moment with us so we are having an unplugged ceremony! This will also help out our photographer
