Mackenzie and Cole live in Plainfield, IN with their son Waylon and their dog Maggie.

Cole and Mackenzie met in 2018 at a Bonfire hosted at their mutual friend’s property. Their first date was at the Miles house. Cole got lost trying to find the house and ended up driving around County roads for 30 minutes. When Cole pulled up and got out of his car he instantly used his sense of humor charm. “East?, I thought you said Weast!” Which of course Mackenzie didn’t get the reference but still laughed at Cole. From that first date Mackenzie knew Cole was the one. Nervous but somehow comfortable in a way she had never felt with a boy.

They have many favorite memories but to save time they each chose two.

Mackenzie’s:

Cole showing me some of his moves. He sure does love doing the shopping cart 🛒 . I honestly wasn’t sure this kid could dance, but when he wants to he’s got some moves, and I usually can’t stop laughing”

“Before we had Waylon, we would drive arounf listening to the Spotify playlist we mooch off of Dylan, Cole would pick the first line of a song or the main chorus and make conversation with it like the song wasn’t about to say it. I remember the song Ocean Front Property by George Strait came on. Cole said “ did you know my uncle has ocean front property in Arizona” and I replied, “dude, why haven’t we gone yet”😂. Cole laughed at me, we still bring it up to this day.

Cole’s:

Some of my favorite memories revolve around trips on the motorcycle. Most Fridays we’d take off for a few hours and ride down to Brown County or just around Hendricks/Putnam County for some time to relax

I also love looking back on our time as a family growing. Buying our first house together, getting Maggie, getting engaged, and having Waylon all brought us closer together.
