How We Met
Our story begins in the vibrant halls of Foster High School during the summer of 2015. Mackenzie, a fresh-faced freshman, and Ethan, a seasoned junior, found themselves united by a shared passion for music during summer band camp. Ethan, a skilled trumpeter, and Mackenzie, a talented clarinetist, dedicated countless hours to perfecting their craft for the marching band.
As the notes echoed across the field, a melody of friendship blossomed. Their journey continued through late-night practices, exhilarating competitions, and the camaraderie that only the world of marching band could offer. It wasn't long before Ethan mustered the courage to ask Mackenzie to Homecoming, marking the beginning of their journey from friends to something more.
Homecoming turned out to be their first official date, filled with laughter, shared interests, and the promise of a connection that would transcend high school. As time unfolded, both Mackenzie and Ethan pursued their dreams at Texas A&M University, navigating the challenges of college life while strengthening the bond they had formed back in high school.

The Proposal
Little did Mackenzie know that a seemingly casual get-together with friends on campus would turn into a life-changing moment. It was September 21, 2023, and the air was filled with a sense of excitement as Mackenzie and her friends headed to campus to meet up with another friend.
Unbeknownst to Mackenzie, this rendezvous was merely a ruse orchestrated by Ethan. The real plan was set into motion when they reached the iconic Century Tree at Texas A&M University. As they strolled beneath its branches, a place rich with tradition and meaning, Ethan seized the perfect moment to surprise Mackenzie with a proposal.
Under the sprawling branches of the Century Tree, Ethan asked the question that would forever alter the course of their lives. With love in his eyes and a sense of certainty in his heart, he asked Mackenzie to be his partner for a lifetime. Our Future
After successfully navigating the challenges of university life at Texas A&M, Mackenzie and Ethan have embarked on the next exciting chapter of their journey. Both having graduated, they now find themselves pursuing their respective careers in the vibrant city of Austin.
