Q + A

Listed below are some common Questions and Answers you may have about the wedding

When to RSVP?

As we are eagerly preparing for our special day, we kindly request that you RSVP before August 1st. Your presence at our wedding would mean the world to us, and we want to ensure that we can accommodate all our guests in the best possible way.

What does semi formal mean?

Semi-formal attire for a wedding strikes a balance between the formality of a black-tie event and the casualness of everyday wear. For men, this typically means a suit and tie, but it doesn't necessarily have to be as formal as a tuxedo. A dark-colored suit paired with a dress shirt and a tie is a safe and stylish choice. Women have more flexibility but generally opt for a cocktail dress or a chic blouse with a skirt or dressy pants. Elegant accessories and moderate heels or dressy flats complete the look. Overall, the goal is to appear polished and sophisticated without being overly formal, allowing guests to celebrate the joyous occasion with style and comfort.

What time does the Ceremony start?

The ceremony will commence promptly at 3:00 PM, and we encourage you to be seated by 2:45 PM. Arriving a bit early will allow you to find your seat, settle in, and be fully present as we embark on this special journey together. Your punctuality is greatly appreciated, and we can't wait to share this joyous occasion with you!

Am I allowed to take photos during the ceremony?

We are thrilled to have you join us for our special day and share in the joy of our wedding ceremony. As we immerse ourselves in the beautiful moments of the ceremony, we kindly request that you refrain from taking photos during this time. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the precious moments, and we want everyone to be fully present and engaged in the ceremony without any distractions. This will not only enhance the overall experience for you but also ensure that the ceremony is witnessed by all in a focused and intimate atmosphere. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. There will be plenty of opportunities for photos during the reception, and we can't wait to celebrate and capture memories together.

Will there be a happy hour?

As we gear up for an evening filled with love and joy, we wanted to let you know that there will be a happy hour from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. During this time, we invite you to indulge in some delightful drinks and appetizers to kick off the festivities. There will be cornhole in the courtyard, so whether you're a seasoned pro or a first-timer, it's the perfect opportunity to showcase your skills and have some fun. Let's come together, share laughter, and raise a toast to our happiness on this special day.

Alcoholic Beverages

To ensure a smooth experience at the bar, we kindly request that you bring a valid ID with you. Further details about the bar will follow soon.

What type of food will be served?

Two delicious main courses: Chicken Fried Chicken and Roast Beef. Dinner will be accompanied by a selection of sides, including creamy mashed potatoes, sweet corn, and a medley of steamed vegetables. Children will have the option of chicken tenders and macaroni.

Can I leave my car overnight?

We're delighted that you'll be celebrating with us at our wedding, and we want to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable time. The venue graciously allows guests to leave their vehicles overnight if needed. However, we kindly ask that you retrieve your vehicle by 9:00 AM the next day to avoid any inconveniences, such as towing. Your safety is our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If you need any assistance arranging alternative transportation or have any concerns, feel free to let us know. We want everyone to have a wonderful and worry-free experience celebrating our special day.
