Sydney and Kenzie have been best friends since birth (literally!) a lifelong friendship that has so much to look back on, while looking forward to how much more they have to come. From playing on the same sports teams, traveling the world, weekends spent at the lake, birthdays, and more. A memory they will never forget is when they had a fight when they were younger and both claimed the other would be sent to Brat Military School. It always makes them laugh to think about. Their friendship has been through all the ups and downs but always remains constant. They will be always be “besties for the resties” Sydney met Nico in 2018 and were friends ever since. She’s always found Nico to be someone you can rely on and has many great stories with him as well. She got to be the roommate of both Kenzie and Nico for a while and always enjoys reminiscing on the many nights spent together with friends around, laughing, and having a fun time. Going forward, she hopes to continue making more memories with the happy couple!

Lindsey first met Nico in 2017 at Drury University, and then Mackenzie a couple of months later when she hosted her on a Drury recruitment visit in 2017. It wasn’t until 2018 when Mackenzie joined the same Drury soccer team that they became good friends. The more they were around each other, Mackenzie and Lindsey realized how much they had in common and became inseparable. Lindsey credits Mackenzie for her shopping addiction, newly found passion of reading, and shared music taste. Their friendship is special in many uncommon ways. Some typical themes of discussion might be, but are definitely not limited to, obsessing over bat boys & vampires, deciding what “cocktail they would be” (and if they should get a tattoo of it), and figuring out their friends aura color. The best moment to sum up the duo would be the night when they role played a dentist scenario for everyone to watch at Billard’s. Their friendship might not be typical, but it’s definitely one that will stick around forever. Lindsey wants to thank Mackenzie for being the best friend she never knew she needed. She also wants Nico to know she can always step in, if he messes up.

Kate met Kenzie in summer of 2022, playing on the same summer league soccer team. Kate’s first memory of Mackenzie was during one of those practices when Kate tried (and failed) to make a joke. Mackenzie was the only one to laugh in the awkwardness, and from that moment on, Kate knew that Kenzie was someone she wanted to be around. Throughout that summer, Kate came to know just how hard working, resilient, and driven Mackenzie is. After the summer season ended and Kate went back to school, Kate’s boyfriend started talking about some French guy who played soccer and how he really enjoys hanging out with him and his other Drury teammates. Eventually, Kate and Sam hung out with the whole gang, and found that they were home and Mackenzie and Nico have been a huge part of that home. Since growing closer over the past 2 years, Kate has realized that she can truly show up as herself around Kenzie, which is a rare feeling that Kate will always cherish. From reading books together, girls nights at cocktail bars, and tearing it up in indoor, Kate and Kenzie’s friendship has been incredible, and it’s only the beginning. Kate is so grateful to have gotten so close with Mackenzie and will never forget the moment of tears and laughter between them both when they asked each other to be bridesmaids at the same time. Their friendship is so special, and Kate is beyond excited to witness her gorgeous friend as she walks down the aisle towards the love of her life.

Alex was first introduced to Kenzie at a Demize soccer game, where she was cheering on her future hubby. After that night, a forever friendship formed. As time passed, soccer games turned into themed girls nights, road-trips, celebrating birthdays and life milestones. Through all of life's ups and downs, their friendship remains the same. Alex now has the privilege of standing by Kenzie on her big day. Excited to watch her friends, as they steps into their new chapter together. The anticipation is unbearable, as Alex looks on, knowing that the best is yet to come for Kenzie and Nico on their journey of becoming husband and wife.

Josie and Kenzie met during their college years in Springfield. Logan, Josie’s long time boyfriend, and Nico played together on Drury's soccer team so they were able to connect through the boys! Their bond strengthened after many soccer Sundays. Josie loves that as she started to travel for work and leave the Springfield area, she could always count on Kenzie’s friendship. Kenzie’s kindness, positivity, and loving spirit make her easy to love! Josie is honored to be one of her bridesmaids, and cannot wait to celebrate Kenzie and Nico!!

Addyson is a Springfield-native and met Mackenzie at her brand-new middle school in 7th grade. Mackenzie was very energetic and social just like Addyson, often resulting in the two of them getting separated or kicked out of classes and basketball practices. Sometimes Addyson would have to run extra sprints in basketball because they could not shut up. Their shared laughter in those rebellious (and hilarious) moments were the cornerstone of a forever unbreakable bond. Over the years, they’ve weathered every storm and celebrated every triumph, from petty high school break-ups to spontaneous late night trips to Waffle House. Life has separated the two of them by 431 miles, and the reunions are few and far between, but they never fail to pick up right where they left off - uncontrollably laughing like the giggling 12-year-old girls they’ve always been.

MacKenzie and Leigha met in elementary school and created a friendship that would last a lifetime. Leigha and MacKenzie have grown up together and experienced so many phases of life- from life at its worst to its best. Memories go as far back as Leigha blaming MacKenzie for stealing their middle school teacher’s laffy taffy, getting caught, and making her walk laps (it was Leigha’s idea to steal the candy), to crazy late night adventures in high school/ post college, and watching Mackenzie build her and Nico’s imaginary world on Minecraft. Life gets busy and time flies by but, the memories and time spent with each other are always cherished. Leigha is incredibly thankful for the most fun and memorable friendship over the years and can’t wait to see what’s in store for Mackenzie and Nico.

Here is Damien Cuadra, one of Nicolas’s best friend. They met in their middle school's playground when they were 11 years old on the very first day of middle school. On that day, 18 years ago, Damien is probably the last guy Nicolas took by the hand (to go the classroom). Since then their friendship remained strong even if they each took separate paths during high school and despite the fact Nico had lost many games at Fifa against Damien… 18 years later, Nico was Damien’s best man, but now it is time for Damien to be one of Nico’s best man for Mackenzie's and Nicolas's most beautiful day.

Charles from Paris Metropolitan Area. Nico and Charles have met on the football field, sorry Soccer field! They were on opposite teams back then playing in the championship game of a tournament against Nico’s team (don’t tell him) winning. Charles then joined Nico’s club and played occasionally together until they joined each other at Drury University. Nico was unaware that Charles was studying at Drury until he saw him at the airport. Ten years later, here they are celebrating Nico’s and his bride to be Mackenzie!

As Mackenzie’s brother, Walker had the unique privilege of meeting Nico before their relationship officially began. Probably trying to be funny he jokingly asked, “So, what are you guys dating now?” a question that unknowingly nudged them into having that conversation. From that very first meeting, Walker could tell that Nico was someone special, the perfect man for his wonderfully high maintenance sister. Today, Walker feels great excitement to see the happiness and joy they bring each other and knowing his sister is in good hands. He looks forward to witnessing all the great moments that lie ahead as they continue their journey. Congratulations, Mackenzie and Nico!

This is Guillaume, the first of the Helin family and Nicolas's big brother! 34 years old, married, and together have a beautiful baby girl, Sienna. Nico is her godfather - Great choice, the best! Guillaume cannot wait to see Mackenzie and Nico get married this Summer!

Name is Ben, the other twin and also the last boy of the Helin's family. When they were kids, Ben remembers the dread of playing FIFA with Nico and not being able to win otherwise he knew Nico would mot be happy at all! But aside from that, Ben knows Nico is a golden brother who's always here when needed. Congratulations to Mackenzie and Nico, may this new stage be filled with joy and happiness for both of you! Cannot wait to be part of your special day and celebrate your love with you both!

Alex, Nico's brother (number 2). His best memories with Nico was when he was planning a revenge. Alex can't quite remember if it was because Nico lost a FIFA match or else, but one day, Alex went into his room and realized his bed lamp wasn't working anymore - worse, the cord had been cut! The next day at diner, Nico started complaining about his thumb saying it was "burnt", and TADAAA, the truth came out. Nicolas, out of pure vengeance, had cut the lamp's cord and got a good electric shock int the process! Haha, what a stubborn brother! We are thrilled to see Mackenzie and Nicolas get married this Summer!

This is Max, #4 of the Helin's mafia! He is one of the twins and yet we often have the impression that he is a double of himself. It's not just a question of resemblance. He's like a shot of tequila: he surprises you, makes you laugh, then you wonder why you listened to him. Congratulations, brother! You've finally found your teammate for life! After all these years of getting angry when you lose, I'm sure she will know how to handle your bad player tantrums. But deep down, you have the heart of a champion!
