Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is located in Richmond, BC at 3211 Grant McConachie Wy.

From YVR, there are a few different transportation options!

It is an easy 35 minute skytrain to downtown Vancouver, hopping on the Canada Line towards Waterfront.

If you're staying in North Vancouver, where our venue is located, enjoy a 20 minute Seabus ride that brings you from Waterfront Station to Lonsdale Quay.

More information on public transportation from YVR airport can be found here. Using Google Maps is a great way to determine which option makes most sense for you as it provides car, transit and even bike options for all routes.

Vancouver also has Uber, Lyft & taxis which are all located outside of Arrivals when exiting YVR.

*Please note that Uber, Lyft or Taxi options will take a similar amount of time as the Skytrain (or longer!) depending on time of day. If arriving during rush hour - Monday to Friday 7:30am-9:30am or 3:30pm-6pm, we would strongly recommend taking the Skytrain! But of course, do what is best and most comfortable for you!

Our venue, Grouse Mountain, is 20 minutes by car from Downtown Vancouver, 40 minutes by public transit (including a beautiful ride on the SeaBus!).

There are countless beautiful hotels in Downtown Vancouver, we like to use Google Maps to see all the many options, trust sites like TripAdvisor for honest reviews and like to book through Booking.com as they often don't require a pre-payment!

*Fun fact - Mackenzie's mom, Annette, worked in Hospitality for many many years and managed both The Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver and the Rosewood Hotel Georgia!

You could also opt to stay in a hotel in North Vancouver which is 15 minutes by car to the venue and close to the beautiful nature - from ocean to forest to mountain - that Vancouver is known to offer. There are less options in North Vancouver for accommodation as compared to Downtown Vancouver. Our hotel recommendation for those wanting to stay in North Vancouver would be the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier.

There are also many wonderful neighborhoods in Vancouver which will have AirBnB options - our recommendations in order are the West End, Kitsilano, and Olympic Village.
