Questions and Answers

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Please RSVP online via the link in your invitation. There will be a couple questions to answer so that we can make the necessary accommodations. Thanks! :)

What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by 8/20/25.

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?

The ceremony and reception will both take place at the same address. 2900 Green River Road Zirconia, NC 28790 When you drive up the gravel driveway you will see signs directing you to the parking lots. Once you park, you will see signs directing you to the ceremony space.

How do I get there?

Once you are on route 25, you will get off at exit 3 for Green River Road. From there you will drive about 2.7 miles before you see the sign for Falling Creek Camp and an entrance with a covered bridge, which will be on your left. We will also have a wedding sign there. Turn onto the gravel driveway and drive up to the camp. At the top of the hill you will see arrows directing you to the parking lots. From the parking lots, we will have directions to get you to the ceremony site. Just keep following the signs!

What is the wedding day itinerary?

The ceremony will begin at 3:30 at Falling Creek Camp. The reception will follow shortly with dinner being served at 5:30.

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?

Yes! There will be a welcome cocktail hour on 9/26. Time and location TBD.

Are kids allowed at the wedding?

While we love your children, please make arrangements for your children under 14 years old, as this is an adult-only wedding.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is semi-formal. See the inspiration gallery below! If you would like to match our color palette, wear greens, browns, golds, or beiges (please no white, cream, or ivory dresses). Bring practical shoes for the ceremony, as we will be walking over chunky gravel to get to the reception venue. If you would like, you can feel free to bring more fashionable shoes for the reception. Be sure to bring a warm layer for the evenings! It gets chilly in the mountains!

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Ideally it will be an outdoor ceremony with a covered (but open-air) reception. However, in case of rain, the ceremony and reception will be in a covered but open-air venue. You may want to consider bringing a wrap or jacket to the reception in case of chilly weather. The evenings in the mountain get especially chilly, so prepare accordingly.

What is the weather/terrain like in the area?

Typically the climate in the mountains is quite variable. On an average day in the fall, the weather ranges from the high 70s to the high 50s with the evenings being drastically cooler than the daytime. There is always a chance of rain in the mountains, so prepare accordingly. Additionally, the terrain is a little bit tricky (hills and rocky gravel), so wear practical shoes to walk around the property, such as nice tennis shoes, loafers, hiking boots, or a low wedge/chunky heel. No-go shoes would include, open toed shoes, platform shoes, stilettos, or flip-flops. If you would like, wear a practical shoe to the ceremony and bring a more fashionable option to the reception. No one likes a rolled ankle! :)

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We will have a professional photographer and videographer who will be taking photos. We request your in-the-moment presence so that we can share our special moment with you. We will share the professional photos and video when we receive them. However, during the reception and cocktail hour, feel free to take as many photos as you would like! Falling Creek is gorgeous and we would love for you to document your journey! Please add photos to our Google Drive so that we can see how you spent your day with us: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1VhQJJdKnMCYcB8LoOCnvoej9jI5Kzq5M?usp=drive_link or use this QR code to take you directly to the Google Drive Folder!

If I have questions who should I reach out to?

Before the wedding: reach out Madalyn: 267-275-3163 Day of: Reach out to our day-of coordinator at: 910-514-6632

Where should we send our wedding gift?

Your presence is more of a gift than we could ever ask for. However, if you would like to bless us with a present, feel free to send it to 343 Poage Farm Road, Wyoming, OH 45215. A card box will also be available at the reception for your convenience.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

Yes. The shuttle will run beginning at 1:30. There will be two 24 passenger shuttles, so if you are planning to take the shuttle, make sure that you plan enough travel time before the ceremony. Getting there earlier is always better. The shuttle will take 20 minutes to reach the camp, where you will be dropped off to their walk approximately 10-15 minutes to the ceremony venue, or take another shuttle to the ceremony venue.
