Back in March of 2024, I was a Minnesota girl living in Seattle in need of a life change. I wanted to live in Florida and have a new job and was ready to find the love of my life.

Micah was just a Hawaii boy living in Daleville, Alabama (Never heard of it? Understandable…it’s tiny and in the middle of nowhere!) going to flight school for UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopters. Micah got invited to go on a boys trip to Nashville and he almost didn’t go because he didn’t want to leave our dog, Bubba. However, his friends told him he had to come and so he went.

I was in Nashville for a job interview with nothing to do after so I looked to see if my friend from Kansas City was in town. As it turns out, he was and invited me to come hang with the boys on Broadway.

I make my way to Broadway and get introduced to this very handsome guy named Micah. From there on out we were inseparable for the whole night and the whole next day until he put me in an Uber to go to the airport. I think we both knew at that point we had a connection but didn’t know where it will go, if anywhere.

We kept texting and the it went to FaceTiming for 8 hours a day and fastly becoming best friends and someone I was obsessed with. Hundreds of hours of learning about each other, hundreds of hours spending time with each other traveling, working out, eating and spending time with people we love most.

We are so grateful to God for bringing us together that in Nashville. We always been tied together with an invisible string that lead us to the night that changed everything.
