Our Wedding

Back in March of 2024, I was a Minnesota girl living in Seattle in need of a life change. I wanted to live in Florida and have a new job and was ready to find the love of my life. Micah was just a Hawaii boy living in Daleville, Alabama (Never heard of it? Understandable…it’s tiny and in the middle of nowhere!) going to flight school for UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopters. Micah got invited to go on a boys trip to Nashville and he almost didn’t go because he didn’t want to leave our dog, Bubba. However, his friends told him he had to come and so he went. I was in Nashville for a job interview with nothing to do after so I looked to see if my friend from Kansas City was in town. As it turns out, he was and invited me to come hang with the boys on Broadway. I make my way to Broadway and get introduced to this very handsome guy named Micah. From there on out we were inseparable for the whole night and the whole next day until he put me in an Uber to go to the airport. I think we both knew at that point we had a connection but didn’t know where it will go, if anywhere. We kept texting and the it went to FaceTiming for 8 hours a day and fastly becoming best friends and someone I was obsessed with. Hundreds of hours of learning about each other, hundreds of hours spending time with each other traveling, working out, eating and spending time with people we love most. We are so grateful to God for bringing us together that in Nashville. We always been tied together with an invisible string that lead us to the night that changed everything.

I am lucky enough to call Aubrey my sister. She is the best person I know. She is so strong and kind and always makes life more fun. We have been able to travel all over the country together on our sister trips which has become a staple in our relationship. All of the craft making, exploring, eating ourselves sick of sushi and sweets, and watching High School Musical, we have made so many great memories and I can't wait to make more. I am so honored to have her stand up next to me as my Maid of Honor.

Aubrey King

Ashley and I met in college and always were at the same parties and other social functions. We were not very close until we moved to Seattle within 3 days of each other. We connect in Seattle and became best friends. We did everything together.  All the nights of trying new restaurants, watching movies and finding new adventures and areas to explore, we made the most of our time. Ashley lights up every room she is in and I am so grateful for her friendship and how much fun she brings to any situation we find ourselves in.

I met Paige in the summer of 2021 which was one of the best summers of our life. I was brand new to Kansas City and found such an amazing group of friends that I have never laughed harder with or had more fun with. Paige and I clicked instantly and new we would be best friends. We spent endless nights having sleepovers, going out on the town and traveling all of the world and country. She is one of my favorite people and is the most loyal friend you will find. She is always down for anything and will be the life of the party and always on the dance floor.

I have known Whitney for 10 years which is crazy! Just two college sophomores in Entrepreneur class. Whitney and I just clicked. We are really different in our interests and personalities, however in our values we found so much commonality. We have been there for each other through the best of times and the worst of times in the last 10 years and I am lucky to have her in my life.
