Salty Sea Coffee (111 Anthes Ave., Langley ~ Weekends 8:30-6, Weekdays 8:30-4)
Maddie's favorite matcha on the island (try the mushroom matcha, the other variety is pretty sweet). They have a second location at the Clinton Ferry, should you get caught waiting in the lot.

Village Pizza (106 1st Street, Langley ~ Wed. - Sun., 12-7) Delicious pizza with a great view! Try the pesto, and if you're inclined, add sliced meatballs on top.
Saltwater Fish House (113 1st Street, Langley ~ Mon.-Thurs. and Sunday, 12-8:30, Fri. & Sat. 12-9:00) A cute little spot that offers tasty seafood. It's best to go on the early side as it fills up quickly. You might also want to check out their sister restaurant, Prima Bistro (201 1/2 First ST, Langley) Sun.-Thurs., 12-8:30, Fri. & Sat., 12-9:00)
Island Nosh (8898 WA-525, Clinton ~ Tues. - Fri., 3-8) A favorite noodle spot with the locals. There are a few places to sit, but most get take-out.
Pickles Deli (11042 State Route 525, Clinton ~ Mon. - Wed., 9-7, Fri. - Sat., 9-7) This is a solid soup and sandwich shop. They are next door to Whidbey Island Bagel Factory. Their hours are ever changing, but if you're lucky, they make a mean bagel!
Leo & Leto's (5511 Freeland Ave, Freeland ~ Wed. - Thurs. 4-8, Fri. - Sun. 9-8) Formerly Blooms, this bistro also doubles as a winery. They are working on depleting their stash of Blooms wines and are making their own. We have tried the Legacy Trio, and it was the first they were able to give input on. If it is any indication of what's to come, we're encouraged. Dinners are great here!
Rocket Taco (1594 Main Street, Freeland ~ Tues. - Sun., 11:30-8) Casual taco shop with good margaritas.
China City (1804 Scott Road, Freeland ~ Tues. - Sun. 11:30-9) Tasty Chinese food. Try the honey walnut shrimp!
Callen's (12981 State Route 20, Coupeville ~ Mon. and Wed.- Sun., 9-8:00) Located across the street from the Coupeville ferry dock, this scratch kitchen restaurant offers some nice water views.
Front Street Grill (20 Front Street, Coupeville ~ Sun. - Thurs. 11:30-8, Fri. - Sat. 11:30-9) Right on the water, varied menu.
Greenbank Pantry (25175 State Route 525, Greenbank ~ Mon.-Sat., 8-6:00, sandwiches 11-6)
The BEST sammys on the island, made with their fresh baked bread (they can be made into salads too). This take out spot also has a few specialty items, and a tasty bakery/coffee shop next door (go early for best selection). When ordering on weekends in the summer, order in advance as it may be a 1-2 hr wait!
