What should I wear?
Semi Formal or Cocktail Attire is acceptable, however please keep in mind the spring weather in New England can be pretty unpredictable. Please no jeans, shorts or sneakers. If you are not sure about your attire, do not hesitate to reach out to us and we can help!
How will I get to and from the wedding?
We are providing transportation for two locations, one from the Quality Inn in Middletown and the other from Downtown Newport Marriott. Please see the schedules below.
Going To the Wedding:
Both busses will arrive at the Quality Inn at 3:15pm.
Bus 1: Departs from Quality Inn at 3:25pm and will go directly to OceanCliff.
Bus 2: Departs at 3:20pm and will head to the Marriott
Bus 2: Boards at Marriott at 3:35pm and will depart 3:40pm to head to OceanCliff.
Departure after the wedding:
The wedding ends at 11pm, but we will be having a late night party for those who don't want the night to end. There will be busses departing at 11pm, 12am and 1am that will drop guests at both the Downtown Newport Marriott and the Quality Inn, Middletown.
How soon should I plan my travel and book a room?
The sooner the better! It's college graduation for the local colleges and we found out the Volvo Ocean Race is happening in Newport that weekend so it's going to be super busy! If you have questions about accommodations, please reach out to us.
Where can I find flight information?
If your travel includes taking flights, please let us start by saying thank you for making such an effort to celebrate with us!
There are a couple of options for nearby airports. The closest major airport to Newport is Providence, RI (PVD). It takes about 45 minutes to drive from the airport to the hotel block at Quality Inn and Suites in Middletown, RI.
A second option would be to fly into Boston, MA (BOS). Logan Airport is about a an hour and a half drive to get to the Quality Inn.

Why Newport, Rhode Island?
We're sure some of you are asking why we chose Newport to have our wedding. We knew once we got engaged that we wanted to share our day somewhere meaningful for us, and Rhode Island holds a very special place in our hearts. We met each other in 2013 at University of Rhode Island and Newport was where we had one of our first official "dates."
Rhode Island has a little of something for everyone and we hope you get a chance to visit all it has to offer!
