We went on one of our first official dates here, so this restaurant has a fond place in our hearts!
This premier waterfront restaurant is a classic tavern with sophisticated charm, defined by its casual elegance, and indulgent food, and drinks. Although spring weather can be unpredictable, 22 Bowens offers an open-air bar to have dinner & a drink while watching the activity of Newport's harbor front.

This is the spot to be for the Newport St. Patrick's Day Parade and became a casual favorite for us!
Voted Best of Rhode Island's Best Neighborhood Bar in 2020 and 2021, O’Brien’s Pub has been operated continuously since 1945. Our current operation was established in 1979 and has continued to be a local favorite among Newport residents and tourists alike. During day time hours, video games, pool tables and our five TV’s offer entertainment to all ages! It's a casual eatery for when you've been out and about all day and just want a nice beer and a burger!

Cliff Walk is the first in New England to be designated as a National Recreation Trail and runs 3.5 miles along the eastern shore of Newport, RI. Cliff Walk combines the natural beauty of the shoreline with the architectural history of Newport's gilded age, but for those who aren't big hikers don't need to worry - about two thirds of the walk is in easy walking condition.

Newport is home to a collection of 11 historic mansions including The Breakers, Marble House, and Rosecliff (some of our personal favs!) There are several walking and trolley tours available if you'd like to learn more about the history behind these sprawling estates.
