The 14th edition of The Ocean Race 2022-2023 visits nine iconic international cities over a six-month period, with the first leg starting from Alicante, Spain, on January 15, 2023. The two racing fleets (the foiling IMOCAs and one-design VO65s) depart on a 32,000 nautical mile race around the world in separate divisions.

The Ocean Race will be finishing it's fourth leg in Newport, RI the weekend of 5/20/2023.

Our current operation was established in 1979 and has continued to be a local favorite among Newport residents and tourists alike. During day time hours, video games, pool tables and our five TV’s offer entertainment to all ages! It's a casual eatery for when you've been out and about all day and just want a nice beer and a burger!

Cliff Walk is the first in New England to be designated as a National Recreation Trail and runs 3.5 miles along the eastern shore of Newport, RI. Cliff Walk combines the natural beauty of the shoreline with the architectural history of Newport's gilded age, but for those who aren't big hikers don't need to worry - about two thirds of the walk is in easy walking condition.
